Press Release
In Both Civilian and Military Supremacy, the Law of Man Oppresses Us, whilst in the Khilafah, the Law of Allah (swt) is Supreme, Guaranteeing Our Rights
The power politics between the political opposition, the Pakistan Democratic Alliance, and the military leadership backed regime of PTI yields nothing for welfare of the people. It is the latest clash between political leaders and military leadership, when both opposing factions have the same master, America, and both abide by colonialist law. Certainly, both civilian and military supremacy leads to oppression of the people. Both factions went to the IMF twenty-two times between them to secure more loans, implemented its oppressive policies, surrendered the sovereignty of the country and burdened people with more taxes to make interests payments. Both factions printed money to bridge the gap between revenues and expenditures, reducing the value of hard-earned savings. Both factions hand over public properties related to oil, gas and electricity to local and international capitalists in the name of privatization. Both factions restrain the armed forces from liberating Occupied Kashmir from the Hindu State. Both factions act as hired facilitators to salvage the besieged American power structure in Afghanistan. Both factions worked hand in glove, in a planned drama, to ensure the easy passage of FATF. So why should the people care for who wins the right to oppress them after this clash?
The interests and rights of people are secured by laws and policies. Whether it is civilian supremacy under democracy or military supremacy under dictatorship, both are faces of the same oppressive system. In both, the power to make laws and policies remains in a power elite, whether it is the kitchen cabinet of Nawaz Sharif, Zardari and his cronies, or a gang of pro-American generals. Allah (swt) said in His Holy Quran
(فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءهُمْ) “Judge, then, in the affairs of men in accordance with the Law that Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires” [Al-Maidah: 5:48]. Thus, in the Khilafah, no-one, including the Khaleefah, can make laws according to desires or personal interests. Laws are derived only from the Quran and the Sunnah, constitutionally. So, the Khaleefah cannot implement the dictates of the FATF, or take loans from IMF, or privatize public properties, or leave the resolution of the issues of Kashmir and Afghanistan to the United Nations or colonialist powers. The Khilafah cannot impose dozens of un-Islamic taxes, such as the General Sales Tax. There is no room for British judicial law in the Khilafah or Western values to corrupt our youth. The Khilafah will not merely condemn or denounce blasphemy against our beloved Prophet (saw), it will break that hand and cut out that tongue. It is high time we abandoned this current system, which has been made to deceive us, and strive vigorously in the struggle to re-establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. Allah (swt) said,
(وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَى)
“But whosoever turns away from this Admonition from Me shall have a straitened life; We shall raise him blind on the Day of Resurrection” [Taha: 20:124].
