A delegation of Hizb ut-Tahrir handed over a protest letter to the Uzbek embassy in Islamabad against the torture and killing of its member in Uzbek jail

Today a delegation of Hizb ut-Tahrir comprising deputy spokesman Imran Yousafzai and member Tahir Sadozai handed over a protesting letter to the Uzbek embassy in Islamabad. The letter was against the torture and persecution being unleashed by the Uzbek tyrant regime against the non-violent struggle of Hizb ut-Tahrir. The latest victim of this tyranny is Ismat Hudoyberdiyev who was tortured and killed in jail by the brutal regime of Uzbekistan. His death by torture is also testified by Initiative Group of Independent Human Right Activists. Ismat Hudoyberdiyev was serving jail sentence for being a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir since 2002. His wife now has to bury her second husband as her first husband Farhad Usmanov was killed by the Uzbek butchers in 1999. Farhad Usmanov too was an active member of Hizb ut-Tahrir and his killing sparked international protests. As per the human rights organizations and media outlets more than 10,000 members of Hizb ut-Tahrir are behind bars in Uzbekistan facing the persecution and torture at the hand of the tyrant regime of Islam karimov. Besides Ismat Hudoyberdiyev and Farhad Usmanov, Muzafar Avazov, Husniddin Alimov, Umar Aleef Hasan Irkinovich, Inogamov Usman Tursunovich, Saidaminov Nu'man, Nosirov Habeebullah, Orif Eshanov and others have been killed in the dungeon of Karimov, however the Shabab of Hizb ut-Tahrir are steadfast with the non-violent political and intellectual struggle for the reestablishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate". Today, Hizb ut-Tahrir has emerged as the single largest political party of the region.  In the protest letter, Hizb has strongly condemned the tyranny of the Uzbek regime and vowed that their shabaab would never bow down to the arrogant agent ruler Islam Karimov and with patience, endurance and steadfastness will continue their non violent struggle for the reestablishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" which will account Karimov all this deeds by bringing him to the court of justice.
