Important Notice for the Urdu-speaking Muslim World

Hizb ut Tahrir's Central Media Office has an Urdu-text based website, accessed through www.hi.zat.one. The Urdu site is an essential media source for hundreds of millions of Muslims of this Ummah of Muhammad (saw), who use Urdu in their daily lives. The website is a repository of press releases and leaflets issued by the various Wilayat of the Hizb ut Tahrir global party for the Khilafah "Caliphate", from Indonesia through to Morocco. It is a source of multimedia material- textual, visual, audio and video- about the vigorous activity of Hizb ut Tahrir for the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate" to the Muslim World. It also is a gateway to the statements and answers to questions by the global Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, the eminent statesman and jurist, Sheikh Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah.

Indeed, the existence of Urdu itself is a legacy of the Khilafah "Caliphate". Urdu is the language that developed within the military garrisons of the Muslim armed forces of the Khilafah "Caliphate", in barracks shared by Muslims from Turkey, Persia, the Arab lands and the Indian Subcontinent. In fact, Urdu is the Turkish word for "army." To this day Urdu's script, vocabulary and form borrows heavily from the blessed language of the Quran and official language of the Khilafah "Caliphate", Arabic.
