Hizb ut-Tahrir held protest demos in Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar against the construction of US military base under the guise of Embassy
Hizb ut-Tahrir held protest demos in Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar against the construction of US military bases all over Pakistan under the guise of Embassy and Consulates as well as against the ever increasing terrorism of US private military, the Blackwater. In Lahore and Karachi the protest demos were held outside Press Clubs. Protesters were holding banners and placards with slogans such as "O Armed Forces of Pakistan! Send Blackwater to the black dustbin of History". Speakers while addressing the gatherings said that the current democratic regime is more subservient and slave to the US than the previous dictatorial regime of Musharraf. Just to protect their rule, these rulers, who are the sellers of Muslim blood, are building cantonments for American troops in order to sell Pakistan and practically convert it into an American colony. Furthermore these rulers have already sold land in Islamabad at a throwaway price so that US can build a military base under the guise of renovation and expansion of the embassy. These rulers are also shamelessly confessing that US Marines would also be deployed at the embassy. The speakers said that the notorious private army of America, Blackwater, has already started its operations in Pakistan. This is the same group that indiscriminately killed and raped our sisters in Iraq. They said that America wants to physically occupy Pakistan for which she is taking all necessary steps so that she could achieve her objective without even firing a single shot. The speakers demanded from the people of Pakistan to join Hizb ut-Tahrir's struggle against US military bases. They also called upon the Pakistan Army to provide Nusrah (physical support) to Hizb ut-Tahrir in order to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" which would make Af-Pak the graveyard for US Marines and Blackwater.
