Obituary of a Da’wah Carrier from the First Generation of Hizb ut Tahrir

[مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُواْ مَا عَاهَدُواْ اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُواْ تَبْدِيلاً]

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance], and they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration.” [Al-Ahzaab: 23]

Hizb ut Tahrir in the Blessed Land of Palestine mourns one of Hizb ut Tahrir’s men, the Da’wah carrier from the first generation in its ranks. The Marhoom by the will of Allah (swt):

Al-Hajj Sa’di Abdul Karim Abu Ramaila At-Tamimi (Abu Anwar)

Who departed to the mercy of Allah (swt) on Thursday, March 8, 2022. Al-Hajj, may Allah have mercy on him, spent his life carrying the call to Islam, working to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, wherever he travelled and stayed. He, may Allah have mercy on him, was at the forefront of carrying the call. He joined the ranks of the Dawah in the 1950’s and remained steadfast upon the truth, adherent to the Shariah rule, trusting in Allah’s victory and the glad-tidings of his Prophet (saw), of the return of the Khilafah Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood. He, may Allah have mercy on him, remained so until he passed away at almost 91 years old.

It is well known that Al-Hajj may Allah have mercy on him, was committed to enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, revealing the Shariah rules and adhered to them. He was keen to spread hope in the heart of his family, relatives and people in general. He often shed tears when he spoke about the issue of Palestine, and that its liberation is imminent. Al-Hajj had a vision in sleep (Ru’iyah) of the Jews entering Al-Quds before its occupation, and it came true. In the same vision, he saw the liberation of Palestine by the hands of the Muslim Armies behind an Imam, leading them under the banner of La ilaha ila Allah Muhammad Rasool Allah. He had hoped to witness it in his lifetime.

May Allah bless our dear deceased with His Vast Mercy, make his abode in His Spacious Gardens, Inna Lilah Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’oon, “To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return”. May Allah reward his family greatly and bestow them with patience and solace, and we do not say except what pleases Allah. To Allah belongs what He gave and to Allah what He took, everything with Him is set for a specified span.
