Hamas Delegation Visits Moscow Again
(Translated)

A Russian Islamic website talked about the visit of Hamas representatives to Moscow and their meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov. It also mentioned that before leaving, the Hamas delegation held an informal meeting with representatives of Russian Muslims. Responding to a question from one of the participants at the meeting about the kind of assistance that Russia's Muslims could offer to Palestine, Musa Abu Marzuq, deputy head of the Hamas political bureau, said: "Muslims in Russia can be an influential political force.

Their numbers are in millions, and they are not immigrants as the case for Muslims in Europe, they are indigenous people in the country, and they must influence the course of peace negotiations. And just as Jewish immigrants from the former Soviet Union influence “Israeli” politics, the Muslims in Russia can also play an important role in influencing Russia's policy in the Middle East.”

Russian Muslims can indeed be an influential political force, but unfortunately, what Hamas is nowadays does not set an example for them. This is because Muslims in order to have the necessary political power, they must truthfully adhere to the orders of their religion in terms of the objective and the way to reach it. Allah (swt) says:

(وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ)

“It is not fitting for a believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger, to have any option about their decision. If anyone disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong path.” [Al-Ahzab: 36]

For example, we see how Hamas deviated from its initially set goals and its adherence to Shariah, which led to such humiliating visits to Moscow, which is not only cooperates closely with the Jewish entity, but also known to the whole world its anti-Islamic policies.

Palestine is not the land of Hamas and Fatah to trade with it and accept the 1967 borders. This is a land for Muslims, and this means that Hamas does not have the slightest right to conduct any negotiations on even one meter of this blessed land that cede it to the Jewish entity. It is also surprising to say that Russian Muslims must influence the course of peace negotiations, which means abandoning the full liberation of Palestine.

Palestine does not need a partial liberation from the Jewish occupation, but a full application of the Shariah on the whole of its lands, and this view on the future of Palestine is borne by all Muslims in Russia as well. Moreover, hundreds of Hizb ut Tahrir members are in prison because of the call to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, which will bring Palestine back to the lands of Islam forever. This is the method that the Prophet (saw) followed in his Seerah. Allah (swt) says:

(لَّقَدۡ كَانَ لَكُمۡ فِي رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُسۡوَةٌ حَسَنَةٞ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرۡجُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَ وَذَكَرَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرا)

“There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.” [Al-Ahzab: 21]

The search for solutions outside the framework of the Islamic Shariah enshrines the occupation of Palestine by Jews and prolongs its life and leads to humiliation before the enemies of Allah. Therefore, as an answer to Abu Marzuq's claim, we remind him of Umar ibn al-Khattab (ra) who said: “Allah gave us honour through Islam. If we ever seek honour through anything else, Allah will humiliate us again.”
