The Lies of the Russian Security Services regarding Hizb ut Tahrir Activities must be Revealed!
(Translated)

On October 17^th, the security forces in Tatarstan arrested a number of Muslims suspected of involvement in Hizb ut Tahrir's activities. The following day, according to the decision of the court’s charge of organizing the activities of a terrorist organization according to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Article 205, Section I and IIagainst the following:

1-  Anis Gimaz Aldinov, born in 1965

2-  Rounat Khananov born in 1986

3-  Azat Zajayev born in 1989

4-  Erick Mohamatov born in 1988

5-  Rayek Hamidolin, born in 1981

6-  Rasem Mamidov, born in 1992

7-  Emil Shanjariev, born in 1993

The local and federal media, with the provision of information by the local security services, published a news item stating: "Dismantle the cells of terrorist organizations", and as evidence to justify arrests among Muslims, it was noted that during the search in their homes, a large quantity of publications was found. A videotape of the arrest of one of the defendants was also posted, in which masked security men could be seen storming a house, breaking a window and jumping into a Muslim house. The recording shows how they handcuffed the hands of the owner of the house while lying on the ground, and the video ends by showing books of Hizb ut Tahrir.

According to the security services, exaggerating the headlines in the media and the video showing the terrified man is enough to convince the community with arresting “terrorists”, as if Hizb ut Tahrir were a threat to the people of Russia. However, they can’t fool the whole of society; this is because the falsity of the charges is not only clear to the families, relatives or even those who know the accused, but also to those who have the least knowledge of the activities and works of Hizb ut Tahrir, the Islamic political party. Moreover, people are increasingly aware that books cannot be evidence of terrorist activities, but rather, on the contrary, because terrorist organizations are known for acts of violence rather than a vast library of Islam!

All this indicates that the lies of the security forces towards Hizb ut Tahrir will inevitably be revealed, and that members of Hizb ut Tahrir, who have been subjected to violence, will be released, setting an example to the Muslims in steadfastness and patience on the path of the Islamic call. Allah (swt) said:

[وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُونَ] "Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned!” [26:227]
