Superpower Features

Superpowers posses certain features that evoke both respect and fear of people towards them. For a long time, the USA has been the leading power which embodied a set of excellent features. Its dominance became clear especially after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The collapse of Soviet Union entailed the decrease of its role in the space that was followed by the ruination of Mir space station which had been an unequalled achievement. This collapse made the USA the leader of the international union in the space and created the ISS. Nevertheless, with the decrease of US activities in the space its shuttles gradually went out of date. According to some published information, it will take the USA 5 years to build a new mother spacecraft. America may manage to build it, nonetheless, they needed help to do so, which places USA out of the superpower position, which currently belong to Russia as it is the only state since 2003 delivers people to ISS.

 Another important feature of the USA is its military power. After the collapse of Warsaw Pact which the NATO was initially a counterbalance to, the North Atlantic Alliance launched a war against Islam. The total dominance of USA in the bloc and in the world helped it to unleash wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which it has lost, even though America has not admitted its defeat. When the USA withdrew its troops from Iraq, the myth of its invincibility that was the base of its hegemony in the world collapsed. The influence of the USA was further undermined when the falsehood of its charges against Iraq became clear. Despite that status of USA, the allies are still ready to help America against Islam to avoid a public opinion against them, since many of their soldiers were killed in these wars. Such fear of public opinion was clear in the public protests of the Iraqi and Afghan campaigns that forced the British and Spanish prime-ministers to change their policies.

 The recent situation in Libya led to a disagreement among the allies. The USA, Italy and UK insisted on transmitting the Chief Command to the NATO. Nevertheless, France started bombing Libya on its own. Germany refused to participate in the operation and ordered to withdraw two of its frigates from the Mediterranean. Turkey which posses the second largest army in the bloc refused to wage war against Libya. The Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria were also reluctant to participate, where their leaders called the Libyan campaign an adventure. Belgium, Denmark and Norway preferred to be on the fence.

 France went further in its independent position in spite of its allies' protests and sold two frigates Mistral of new type to Russia and a license of the construction of four more frigates. NATO members; Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania are concerned about Moscow's intention to locate these ships in the Baltic Sea, which may pose a threat to their security. Moreover, France has sold the ships fully equipped with arms including the software codes for tactical data and communications systems. Russia must have intended to locate at least one ship in the Baltic as it meets its interests in the Northern seas. The second Mistral and the ones to be built later may be used in the Black sea under the veil of fighting pirates as a reaction to the joint US-Ukrainian maneuvers.

Another feature of a superpower might be its ability to defend its allies. Nevertheless, America betrayed its friend scoundrel Mubarak, despite the fact that it was clear to everyone that it had been supporting him all the time. It showed not just its hypocrisy but its inability to defend him. The resignation of Mubarak has aggravated the US position in the Middle East. The inability of the US to support Mubarak was a result of its deceit. If it had admitted that a dictator was a friend of the US then it would have been easy for it to defend him, however, this would have spoiled its reputation of democracy advocate. America's betrayal of its allies will dramatically change their attitude to it.

Recently, Europe was hit by a deep economic crisis. Greek and Portuguese economies are on the brink of default. Some other countries including Italy may soon find themselves in a similar situation. America's economy is also in deep decline. Despite that, Obama has persuaded the Congress to increase US national debt to $16.5 trillion. US president tried to convince the public opinion that the situation in his country is better than in Europe. It means that he was afraid of a wrong interpretation of the situation in his country's economy. American experts claim that lately there was nothing bad in the state's economy and there are no reasons for default. Nevertheless, the key factor of US economic might is its foreign policy and the leading role in the world which have allowed it to make unlimited debt commitments and print huge amount of currency.

Napoleon also used a money printing machine in his wars, but he printed the currency of the country which he planned to conquer. However, the decline of US influence in the world will not just weaken the dollar, but also the entire economy of America will collapse and deprive it of all features of a superpower.

We pray to Allah and struggle for the restoration of the Khilafah "Caliphate", which will possess much more prominent and real features of a superpower. O Muslims, let near victory of Islam inspire you, a victory that will coincide with it the collapse of America. The great reward of working to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" soon cannot be attained, a reward that is greater than that of implementing Sharia under the shelter of a caliph.
