Dawah Carrier Arrested in Moscow
(Translated)

Maysan court in the city of Moscow has decided to arrest Hizb ut Tahrir member, Babayev Munirkhan, born in 1985. Munirkhan is charged according to Article 205.5 Item 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federal Constitution related to organizing activities of a terrorist organization, which carries a maximum jail sentence of 15 years to life imprisonment.

The security services disregard the fact Hizb ut Tahrir has no links to any terrorist act, and it continues to pursue the members of Hizb ut Tahrir and accuse them of great crimes. In Moscow alone and its suburbs, tens of Muslims were arrested by the end of the year 2015, on charges of engaging in the activity of Hizb ut Tahrir. Hundreds of members of Hizb ut Tahrir were arrested in other parts of Russia, and until now are still detained.

The government is slandering Hizb ut Tahrir, the Islamic political party, by claiming it is a terrorist group, as it does with the people of Syria, by claiming that they are terrorist because they are unified around the righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" project on the Method of the Prophet Muhammad (saw), on the blessed land of Ash-Sham. Russia imprisons those who do not possess a weapon except words; thus, it is bombing with its aircrafts and killing Muslims in their homes.

We ask Allah Almighty to remove the hardship facing the Muslim Ummah, and hasten the day when all those who have committed crimes against Muslims are punished. Allah (swt) says:

[وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّـهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ * مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمْ لَا يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ ۖ وَأَفْئِدَتُهُمْ هَوَاءٌ]

“And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]. Racing ahead, their heads raised up, their glance does not come back to them, and their hearts are void.” [Ibrahim: 42-43]
