O you who Seek Change: Let the Change be Based on Islam
(Translated)

Mass demonstrations broke out in the center of the capital, Khartoum, and in different cities in Sudan, after the people were frustrated by the regime's failed economic policies, which led to severe crises in obtaining bread and fuel and access to money deposited in banks, until rows became a familiar scene everywhere at a time when the regime insists on restricting people’s livelihood by applying the prescriptions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that destroyed crops and animals, without regard for the weak and destitute, and life became an intolerable hell.

In face of this dire reality and the reactions of the people, we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan send the following messages:

First: To our people in Sudan we say: The change we seek must be a radical change, not a change of faces with the survival of the failed regimes and policies that have been for more than six decades leading people from bad to worse, but the change must be on the basis of the Islamic Aqeeda, and that the demonstrations and the demands be peaceful as our noble Prophet (saw) has taught us.

Secondly, to the youth who came out angry at the injustice and the corruption of the regime and its failed policies, do not ruin the public property, for it is not the property of the scheming regime on the country and the people, but it is the property of the Ummah, whereas the private properties they belong to your brothers and your families, and Islam forbids harming and countering harm. The Messenger of Allah (saw) says:

«لَا ضَرَرَ وَلَا ضِرَار» “There should be neither harming (darar) nor reciprocating harm (dirar).”. Let your protests be peaceful, and your work for the change should not be for the sake of changing faces with other faces, under the ongoing policies of the colonists. Put your hands at the hands of the sincere people of the Ummah, who seek to establish the just system of Islam, the Khilafah Rashidah (righteous Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood.

The third and final message is directed to the people of power and support from the sincere people in the armed forces and other security services: Be with your Ummah for the radical change, and do not be the support of a regime that lacks Islamic legitimacy, does not govern by Allah’s law, and does not take care of the affairs of the Ummah with justice and fairness, but afflicts it with the worst torment. And, above all, it is a tool in the hand of the Kaffir colonial West, carrying out its conspiracies towards the country and the people, and participating in the fight against Islam through its involvement in the so-called war on “terrorism”, led by the maker of terrorism and the guardian of evil in the world, America. Give victory (Nusrah) to Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the second Khilafah Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood, so you win the goodness of this World and the Hereafter, and the history will write your names in sheets of light, and you will be like the Ansar who supported the beloved Muhammad (saw) so he established the first state of Islam in al-Madinah so they were praised by our Lord the almighty in the Noble Quran in His (swt) saying:

(وَالَّذِينَ آوَوْا وَنَصَرُوا أُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقّاً لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ)

“And those who gave shelter and aided - it is they who are the believers, truly. For them is forgiveness and noble provision.” [Al-Anfal: 74].
