Speech of the Official Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah SudanAt the Celebration on the Occasion of the Release of the Detainees from the Hizb’s Shabab
(Translated)

Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds, no aggression except to the oppressors, and prayers and peace upon the one sent as a mercy to mankind, and upon his family and valued, righteous companions.

Dear brothers, press agents with their different media and titles, the brothers from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, dear guests: Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatahu!

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan since its presence in this country since the sixties of the last century has been working with the Ummah and within the Ummah to achieve its awakening, to accept Islam as its decisive issue and to resume the Islamic way of life through the establishment of a rightly guided Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of Prophethood. Hizb ut Tahrir has since followed the method of the Prophet (saw), based on intellectual conflict and political struggle, without undertaking any material action, not for the fear of the wrath of the authorities, but as a commitment to the honorable Prophetic guidance. It has committed to the great ideology of Islam, not deviating from it by a hairs breadth no matter how severe the forces of falsehood and their oppression.

The ruling regimes in this country since the first era of the military to this very day know that the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir do not deviate from their ideology of Islam. They do not abandon what has been adopted from the provisions built on it or stemming from it, no matter how great the temptation or how grave the obstacles, from imprisonment and arrests and physical and mental torture therein. This is because they have sold themselves cheaply for the sake of Allah Almighty.  Some of the Shabab have died, we ask Allah for His mercy and forgiveness, and some of them are still waiting for their fate.

The last trials and tribulations suffered by the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, was the plight of the recent arrests, and what happened there from beating with whips, slapping with hands, kicking with legs, and restricting with chains. The Shabab insisted on the truth they are carrying, giving the best of examples of insistence on the ideology.

This insistence stunned the henchmen of the system and their torturers, causing them to admit that they have not seen - throughout the time of their work - men that took such a stand.

We commend you my dear brothers for passing this exam, and blessings for you, insha Allah, for the reward and recompense with the Bountiful King. You have given wonderful examples of the Dawah carrier who traces the path of beloved Muhammad (saw).

I conclude by saying that the venerable companions have given the finest examples of fortitude on the insistence on the Truth; it is on us Dawah carriers to succeed them in our time. We revive their memory and restore their paths, and renew their history following their examples in their insistence on the truth and consistency until the victory from Allah comes. Indeed, the victory of Allah is near.
