The Cairo Conference Recycles the Same Regime that Created the Crises and Tore the Country Apart
(Translated)

Yesterday, Saturday, 6 July 2024, the so-called Sudanese Political and Civil Forces Conference was held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo; the key points in the issued final statement were: “...the conferees also stressed the necessity of adhering to the Jeddah Declaration and considering the mechanisms for its implementation and development to keep pace with developments in the war… As for the political path to resolve the crisis, the participants agreed on preserving Sudan as a unified homeland on the foundations of citizenship, equal rights, and a civil, democratic, federal state…”

Based on what was mentioned in the final statement of the Cairo Conference, we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan affirm the following:

Firstly: The politicians who are at the forefront of the scene in Sudan are still following their old misguided ways, they rejoice and celebrate the solutions of the kafir colonizer. They do not see a solution to Sudan’s crises, created by the hands of the enemies, except in the conspiracies of the enemies themselves, so the proverb that says, “Cure me with that which was the disease!” applies to them.

Second: The conference is recycling the same regime that created the crises and tore the country apart, this is through discussing the civil, democratic, federal state. It is the same state that the kafir British colonialist created in Sudan, and then handed it down to those whom it created knowingly, so they followed its misguidance until we reached after nearly seven decades this painful reality.

Third: The conference attendees have proven that they are part of the American policy of filling the vacuum until its poisonous recipe matures and takes them to Jeddah. The conference participants do not have a clear political vision other than regurgitating the solutions that the kafir colonialist West is offering them for their own benefit and against the interest of the people of Sudan.

Fourth: We did not see at the conference other than the faces associated with the kafir colonialist who consolidates colonialism and serve its projects.

In conclusion: We say to our people in Sudan that you are Muslims who believe in Allah as your Lord, Islam as your Deen, and Muhammad (saw) as your Prophet and Messenger, so how can you accept that someone who is associated with your kafir enemies, who do not want good for you, work to resolve your issues? Allah (swt) says:

[مَّا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَلَا الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ]

“Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture [i.e., the Jews and Christians] nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord” [Al-Baqara: 105].

Finally: We affirm that there is no solution to the crises of Sudan and indeed of the entire world except in the system of Islam and its upright Shariah implemented by the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) state on the method of Prophethood, which its time has come, Allah willing, and which was the glad tiding of the beloved chosen one (saw):

«ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ. ثُمَّ سَكَتَ»

“Then there will be a Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood, then he remained silent.” [Imam Ahmad narrated it in his Musnad].
