A Delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan Visits Dr. Mujahid Harun

A delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, headed by Ustaadh Ibrahim Othman (Abu Khalil), Official Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, accompanied by Ustaadh Abdullah Ismail, Member of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, visited Dr. Mujahid Harun Muhammad, Member of the Council of Scholars of the Red Sea State, at his office yesterday, Wednesday, 25 Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to 23 April 2025 CE.

The meeting addressed the problems of Muslims and how to solve them. Abu Khalil presented Hizb ut Tahrir's vision for resolving Muslim problems, arguing that these problems are the result of the absence of Islam as the intellectual leadership of the Ummah. This, of course, can only be achieved under a state and authority founded on the great foundation of Islam. Since the abolition of the Khilafah (Caliphate) more than 100 years ago, Muslim lands have been divided into functional national states, none of which are founded on the foundation of Islam.

Rather, they are based on the systems of the kafir (disbelieving) colonialist West, implementing its policies and conspiracies against the Ummah. What is happening now in Palestine is a prime example of the inaction of the rulers of these harmful systems. By not supporting the oppressed in Palestine, and leaving them to the brutal machine of the Jews and the kafir colonialist West, it is incumbent upon the preachers, the bearers of the Islamic call, the imams, and the scholars to know that their primary mission in these circumstances is to speak about the fateful issue, which is to establish authority for Islam by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, so that this Ummah may rise.

Dr. Mujahid's response was that he agreed with this proposal, and that he did not see today a state based on Islam, and that the duty of the Ummah was to work to establish an Islamic authority, because this Ummah could not exist and there could be no justice unless there was a state based on Islam.

At the end of the meeting, he emphasized communication and said that our platforms are open to you. He also stated that he has known Hizb ut Tahrir for a long time and has good relations with its members.
