Holds a Public Address in East Nile, Khartoum

As part of its campaign to thwart the plan to divide Sudan by separating Darfur, Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan held a public address on Saturday, 4 October 2025, at Al-Wahda Market 6 in East Nile borough, Khartoum. Ustaadh Omar Hassan, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, spoke about the unity of the Ummah as a vital issue. He began his speech with the words of Allah (swt):

[وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللهِ جَمِيعاً وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا]

“And hold firmly together to the rope of Allah and do not be divided” [Aal-i-Imran:103].

He explained the meaning of the verse, then stated that the Islamic Ummah held fast to the rope of Allah (swt) until the kafir (disbeliever) colonizer came, destroyed the Khilafah (Caliphate), tore the Muslim lands into small states, continues to plot against the Ummah and fragment what was divided and separated South Sudan and prepared the remaining states for secession. Now, America is seeking to separate the Darfur region. He explained that the Sudan Founding Alliance is only a step on the path to tearing the country apart by separating Darfur.

He then called on the Ummah to shoulder its responsibility, fulfill its duty, and strive earnestly to prevent the separation of Darfur, as was the case with South Sudan. The audience responded enthusiastically to the address.
