Following the publication of a post on his Facebook page in which he enjoined what is right and forbade what is wrong, brother Nasr al-Din Muhammad Thamin Adam was arrested in the city of Ash-Shawak on Sunday, 19/07/2026, by the Military Intelligence. He was then transferred to the Ash-Shawak Police Station on Monday, 20/07/2026, where Case No. 1057 was opened against him under Article 69 of the Sudanese Criminal Code. When they realized that this article would expose them to ridicule, as its malicious nature was obvious, they changed the charge to Article 25 of the Cybercrimes Act, which states: "Whoever prepares or uses an information and communications network or any information technology means or applications to defame the reputation of any person shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years, or flogging, or both." They attached to the case file the final part of brother Nasr al-Din's post: "Tahriri Ash-Shawak

My dear brother, there is no security and no safety. This system is a system of disgrace, corruption, plunder, and theft imposed upon us. This system does not protect even ants or donkeys; rather, it sees human beings as mere ants that should be eliminated. We have witnessed in this futile and cursed war how people have been killed. Therefore, there is no security or safety except under a state that implements the rulings of the great Islam—Khilafah Rashidah (a Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood—which safeguards the countries and the servants, removes hatred among the Muslims, combats those who work to destroy society, and exacts retribution against those who wage war against Allah, His Messenger, and the believers. O Allah, grant us a Khilafah on the method of the Prophethood until the hosts are defeated and turn their backs in flight. Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is more grievous and more bitter.

We ask Allah, our Lord, to accept her, grant her spaciousness in His Paradise, and inspire her family and relatives with patience and consolation. Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return."

It is clear from the conduct of the agencies belonging to this regime that they are determined to continue down the path of misguidance by fabricating accusations and malicious cases against the sincere sons of this Ummah—those who seek goodness for the countries and its peoples, who speak the truth, and who strive to change this corrupt reality on the basis of Islam.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan affirm that arrests and prisons will only increase us in strength upon the truth and steadfastness upon the great principle of Islam. We will never deviate from this path, even if those who tread it are few. We adopt the interests of the Ummah, expose the schemes of the colonial kufar and their agents, and continue enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, in compliance with the saying of the beloved Messenger Muhammad (saw): «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَتَأْمُرُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلَتَنْهَوُنَّ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، أَوْ لَيُوشِكَنَّ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عِقَاباً مِنْ عِنْدِهِ ثُمَّ لَتَدْعُنَّهُ فَلَا يَسْتَجِيبُ لَكُمْ»“By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, you must enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, or Allah will soon send upon you a punishment from Himself. Then you will supplicate to Him, but He will not answer you” [Narrated by Ahmad, At-Tirmidhi, and Al-Bayhaqi].
