Statement by the Official Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Sudan, Entitled:
“Does America Really Want to Stop the War in Sudan and Bring About Peace?!”
(Translated)

In a post on his official account on the X platform, formerly Twitter, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander of the Army, General al-Burhan, said on Thursday, 15/10/2026: “I wrote to President Donald Trump reaffirming Sudan’s commitment to U.S. peace efforts. The Government of Sudan is ready to work in good faith with all parties for a just, lasting peace that safeguards our sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity, & our people’s dignity.”

This letter comes after al-Burhan delivered a massive public speech at Khartoum Stadium on Saturday, 26/9/2026, in response to America’s refusal to grant him an entry visa to participate in the proceedings of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Through this public speech, he announced his rejection of American pressure and what he described as American blackmail. He said in Sudanese colloquial Arabic: “We don’t want a visa from any country, and we don’t want permission from anyone, and we don’t want anything. We will stay here and die with you in this country,” affirming that the fighting against the Rapid Support Forces would continue until they were eradicated. In response to this change in Burhan’s position, his adviser, Amjad Farid, justified it in a statement to Al Hadath channel on 16/10/2026, saying that the letter expressed Sudan’s readiness to engage directly in international efforts aimed at achieving peace, including initiatives sponsored by the United Nations and other international parties.

So, is America an impartial mediator for stopping the war in Sudan and achieving peace?! Before answering this question, it is necessary to emphasize that this ongoing war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) is not merely an internal war between two parties. Rather, it is the result of the international struggle over Sudan between America and its military instruments, and Britain and its civilian instruments. When the pressure on America’s military men intensified through what is called the Framework Agreement, America ignited the war between its two agents in order to remove the civilians from the arena of conflict by eliminating the Framework Agreement, which has now become a thing of the past. This conflict continues to take different forms and shapes. Within this framework, the sixth round of international consultations to coordinate peace efforts in Sudan concluded in Geneva on Wednesday, 21/10/2026, with the participation of 21 countries and five international and regional organizations. This was a meeting organized by the Europeans in an attempt to take the Sudan file away from America. However, Massad Boulos, Trump’s envoy for Sudan, blocked their path on the issue of political dialogue and insisted on a truce first. Amjad Farid, al-Burhan’s adviser, exposed Boulos’s proposed truce as not being serious.

Now, to answer the question: we affirm that America is not an impartial mediator and is not concerned with bringing about peace in Sudan. Rather, it acts and handles the Sudan war file in pursuit of its own interests, for it is a colonial capitalist state. This is manifested in the following:

First: America treats the state’s official army as equal to an armed rebel force. This has been clearly evident in the statements of its officials since the outbreak of this senseless war. Here, we will limit ourselves to the latest statement by the US State Department on 23/9/2026, in which it said: “Neither the Sudanese Armed Forces, the Rapid Support Forces, nor their respective leaders, represent legitimate, constitutional governance for Sudan – they rule through force of arms alone.” The US State Department added that it seeks to restore peace and return authority to the Sudanese people.

Second: America seeks to detach Darfur from Sudan and is preparing the conditions for that. In April 2024, the United States Institute of Peace organized a workshop in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, during which three scenarios for the war in Sudan were discussed. The institute focused on the third scenario, namely, the existence of two governments in Sudan. It emphasized this scenario, stating that it had become the closest and most likely scenario, and that it could lead to a reduction in the intensity of fighting in the country and open avenues for sitting at the negotiating table. Then came the conference of the Sudan Founding Alliance in Nairobi in February 2025, which resulted in what was called the Founding Government on 26 July 2025, with a presidential council and a prime minister’s office. Thus, a parallel government came into existence in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur State.

Third: It was clear that the one directing the war from behind the scenes—America—did not want the army to advance towards liberating Darfur. As a result, the conflict remained away from Darfur, in South Kordofan and Blue Nile.

Fourth: On 20/6/2026, America’s proposal calling for surrendering to the fait accompli came through its envoy, Massad Boulos, in his updated paper to the Sudanese government. The paper stated: “A comprehensive and immediate nationwide truce for a period of 90 days to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance...” and so on, as set out in the paper.

This truce proposed by America under the pretext of delivering aid, when applied in the context of separatist rebels such as the Rapid Support Forces, means that the proposal recognizes their entity and accepts them as they are. The American paper also avoids discussing the dismantling of the RSF and ending their existence. Rather, it implicitly calls for their continued existence when it calls on their forces to redeploy.

This means that America aims to present them as a parallel political entity, possessing an administrative structure and a political program, that sits at the negotiating table. As for a ceasefire, it means entrenching the RSF control over Darfur. This is a gradual preparation for the separation of Darfur.

As for talk about the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, neither America nor Trump cares about it.

Moreover, the government itself is following America’s plan to detach Darfur by strengthening the RSF through supplying them with oil money. News reports have stated that the government shares with the RSF the revenue from the transit of South Sudanese oil through the oil pipeline. According to these reports, the amount paid to the RSF is 360 million dollars annually, and the government has not denied these reports.

As for Sudanese oil produced in Heglig, where the RSF are in control, it amounts to approximately 26,000 barrels per day and is exported together with South Sudanese oil. How much of it is paid to the RSF?! No one knows. Indeed, this money does not even appear in the state budget! The government also periodically opens the Adré crossing, which is considered the lifeline supplying the RSF with weapons and fuel. The government knows this; indeed, it has spoken about this matter. Despite that, it continues to open this crossing periodically!

In addition to all this, envoys of the United Nations and envoys of some countries meet with officials from the parallel Founding Government. This is considered implicit recognition by them of the parallel government. The UN envoy Pekka Haavisto met with the commander of the RSF, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as Hemedti, in Nairobi in April 2026. In September 2026, Japan’s special envoy for the Horn of Africa met with Omar al-Safi, head of the National Authority for Humanitarian Access in the Founding Government. Omar al-Safi also met with the head of the European Union Delegation to Sudan, among others. All these meetings took place in the land of conspiracies—in Nairobi, Kenya.

Politicians connected to the colonial powers, as well as the associated media circles—or, rather, the mercenary media—know this information and much more. All of them do not tell the truth, even if the price of their silence is the devastation of the country and the destruction of its people!

This is the reality of the conspiracy, and this is the reality of America, which conspires against Sudan’s unity and previously separated South Sudan in the name of the so-called peace. So how can America be asked to intervene to bring about peace in Sudan when it is seeking to secede Darfur?! This is not unusual for it, for it is a kufr (disbelieving) colonial state, hostile to Islam and Muslims, and its president, Trump, does not conceal this; rather, he declares it openly. But the calamity lies in the Muslim people of Sudan who assist America in carrying out its conspiratorial plans through words, actions, or even silence.

It has been practically established that the rulers of the Muslims—including the rulers of Sudan—are obedient instruments in America’s hands. Nothing will bring America’s arrogance to an end except the State of Islam: the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. In it lie the pleasure of Allah, Lord of all the worlds; the salvation of the Muslims; and mercy and guidance for all humankind. How could it be otherwise, when it is the system approved by the Lord of all the worlds, the Creator of all humankind?
