I came across an article by the writer Muhammad Abd al-Qadir entitled: “Where Are the Parties?!... A Missing Persons Report”, in Al-Karama Newspaper, dated 26 October 2026. In it, the writer complains about the absence of political parties from the Sudanese political arena that offer solutions and approaches to the problems the country is going through! The writer began the article by saying: “Perhaps we need to issue an announcement saying ‘Left and Has Not Returned Yet’ to report our painful and shocking loss of the Sudanese political parties amid the calamities of our current crisis...”

It is as though the writer has not seen the extensive and continuous activities of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan, which offers solutions and approaches to the problems of the people and the country. The Hizb addresses the people of Sudan in markets, public squares, mosques, halls, newspapers, various media platforms, and pages and groups on electronic social media networks.

Despite all these visible activities, the writer says: “The parties are recording a strange, suspicious, and conspicuous absence, despite the great dangers surrounding the reality of Sudan today. All of them are failing to rise to the level of the serious challenges threatening to remove Sudan, the homeland, from the map!”

Although the Hizb's activities did not stop before the war or during it, we still hold a political address every week in the administrative capital, Port Sudan. We address people directly in the main market and present solutions and approaches to political and economic problems, as well as issues concerning the war, negotiations, and truces. Our Hizb may be the only one that continues to warn of the dangers posed by these armed militias, at a time when they used to be called “armed struggle movements”. Moreover, throughout the past period, we have carried out strong political campaigns covering all the cities of Sudan against America's dirty plan to separate Darfur. America ignited this dirty war through its agents among the armed forces, in order to implement all its plans: fragmenting Sudan, plundering its wealth, and preventing Islam from reaching power. We exposed all of this. We held dozens of seminars and a conference in the hall of one of the most famous hotels in Port Sudan, and we made preventing the secession of Darfur and preserving the unity of the country an existential issue.

But, unfortunately, the government confronted these great activities by arresting the Hizb's Shabab (members) and opening malicious legal cases against them. Indeed, some writers considered affiliated with the government regarded the Hizb's warning about the plan to separate Darfur as “singing outside the flock”!

What makes the writer's statement even more astonishing is his saying: “Not a single statement or position has come to my attention that puts forward any prescription for dealing with our troubled political, economic, and security reality... Everyone has disappeared, and the vacuum that now fills the arena has appeared!”

As if the writer has not come across any of the Hizb's platforms spread throughout Sudan, or those that people follow almost daily on electronic social media networks. The Hizb holds a monthly press conference for its Official Spokesman, in which he presents solutions and approaches to any prominent political, economic, or other issue. The Official Spokesman's address is published very widely. Even more astonishingly, news websites regularly publish news of this press conference and publish the address delivered during it.

Likewise, the Hizb regularly holds the “Qadayā al-Ummah Forum” (Issues of the Ummah Forum), in which it discusses a particular issue, a crisis affecting the country, or a problem, explaining its reality and presenting effective solutions for it. The Hizb also holds the Political Salon every month, in which it presents global issues related to Sudan, sheds light on them, and offers solutions to them.

This is in addition to the press statements issued by the Official Spokesman commenting on current events, as well as the political articles written by the Hizb's Shabab and their commentary on breaking news under the title: “News and Commentary”. This is besides the Al-Raya Newspaper, which the Hizb publishes every Wednesday of each week...

It would have been appropriate, in the interests of fairness and academic integrity, for the writer to mention these activities, even if only for the sake of being aware of them rather than being ignorant of them.

However, there was no mention whatsoever of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan in his article. I do not know whether this happened as a result of a lack of awareness, or because of another motive that he is concealing!

But after this press response of ours, the writer must clarify this to public opinion and give the Party its due in terms of fairness.

Then the writer says: “Give me one example of a party that has not witnessed splits or disagreements...” Everyone, both near and far, knows that Hizb ut Tahrir is a political party whose ideology is Islam. It works with the Ummah and among it in order to establish the State of Islam: the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. Everyone, both near and far, knows its Official Spokesman, its Shabab, and its officials.

Here is the Hizb proceeding by following the method of the Prophet (saw) to establish the Khilafah Rashidah on the Method of Prophethood. Its Shabab continue their efforts day and night, with no splits or disagreements.

The issue is clear to the Hizb's Shabab: that great Islam should reach power and that Islamic life should be resumed by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah on the Method of the Prophethood.

The Hizb's Shabab consider this a matter of life or death, until the promise of Allah, the Exalted, is fulfilled, as He says:

[وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْناً يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئاً وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ]

“Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession upon the earth, just as He granted it to those before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely replace their fear with security. They worship Me, not associating anything with Me. And whoever disbelieves after that, then those are the defiantly disobedient.” [An-Nur:55].And the Prophet (saw) says: «وَمَنْ مَاتَ وَلَيْسَ فِي عُنُقِهِ بَيْعَةٌ مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً»“Whoever dies while there is no pledge of allegiance upon his neck dies a death of the Days of Ignorance.”
