Are You for the Establishment of the Khilafah or Not?!
(Translated)

On Saturday morning, 19 Jumada II 1435 AH, 19/4/2014, the security forces in the city of Gadarif have arrested the following members of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Sudan- Gadarif: 1. Ibrahim Abdul Qadir, 2. Munnawar Dafa' Allah, 3. Usama Abdul Aziz, 4. Ilmu Deen Muhammad Al Hassan. They were released after several hours; but a computer, camera, and survey documents were withheld.

This was at the backdrop of the members of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Sudan - Gadarif carrying out a survey in the local market; which asked one question only: ‘Are you for the Establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate"?' with the choice of Yes or No in the answer space.

The excuse used by the forces for carrying out the arrest was that this action was not licensed.

The action of the members is one of the greatest and most sublime of this time; which is the work to resume the Islamic way of life by establishing the Rightly Guided Khilafah "Caliphate" upon the method of the Prophethood. The implementation of Allah's Laws on the ground will not be possible except under the shade of the Islamic State. Islam knows no State but the Khilafah "Caliphate" State. This is an action worth the exertion of the efforts of every Muslim, failing this; the minimum expected from a Muslim is to stand in support of those who work for it. How can the authorities in the Muslim Lands obstruct the work for a main obligation of the obligations of the Deen rather the greatest obligation since the implementation of the rest of the obligations depend on its existence; it is the crown of all obligations as described by some scholars.

The action perpetrated by the security forces in the city of Gadarif is an obstruction in the way of Allah, Allah (swt) says:

(وَلا تَقْعُدُوا بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا)

"And sit not on every road, threatening, and hindering from the path of Allah those Who believe in Him. And seeking to make it crooked..." [Al-A'raaf: 86]

This action even by the state's man-made law does not need a license, it is  not a political seminar or a public rally.  The Republic decree number 158 that regulates political parties' activities states the following: "2-3 Political parties have the right of organization of seminars and public rallies in squares and public places".

The stark contradiction in the words and deeds of the government is a good indication of its confusion, fear of the truth and its exposure which is clear for all who have an ounce of sense.

What upset the regime is the attraction of the people to the brothers, which indicates the Ummah's love of Islam and the Dawah Carriers. Also the fact that this will expose the regime which only gives lip service to Islam and did not implement it on the ground and now is moving openly towards secularism.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Sudan warn the government and its security agencies from the consequences of obstructing in the way of Allah; the result is disgrace in the Dunyah and loss in the Akhirah. We demand that they return the devices and documents that they took with no right.

Finally we ask the regime and its cronies: Are you for the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" or Not?!
