Opening the Abu Al-Zandin Crossing is a Step Towards Normalization with the Criminal Regime, but it will not be the Last.

The local council in the city of Al-Bab, east of Aleppo, announced the opening of the Abu Al-Zandin commercial crossing on Sunday, 18/8/2024, to be approved as an official commercial crossing.

The local council in Al-Bab city stated that this decision reflects its keenness to improve the living conditions of the people of the region, enhance local economic activity, stimulate commercial movement, and increase the resources of the local council, to spend them for the public good and rehabilitate the infrastructure in the city.

The ideas of opening the crossings are not new, as there have been many attempts before that, which were not successful. Perhaps the most prominent of these was what happened in Maarat al-Naasan, which is under the control of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) years ago, when Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham wanted to open a crossing with the criminal regime, but people objected, gathered and demonstrated, and the demonstrators were run over and one of them was martyred at that time.

The local council in Al-Bab city claims that the goal of opening the crossing is commercial, but the truth is that opening the crossing is a purely political matter; It is a normalization step with the criminal regime par excellence, aiming to tame the people of the revolution to accept reconciliation with the regime of murder and crime. The decision to open it cannot be made by a local council, but rather came as a result of Turkish-Russian agreements and understandings whose goal is to serve the tyrant of Damascus and conspire against the people of the revolution. As for attempts to portray the matter as local and service-related, it is a blatant attempt to deceive the people of the revolution who reject any steps towards reconciliation or normalization with the criminal regime.

Just as the crossing issue is not a service issue, it is also not a local issue specific to the Bab area and its surroundings, but rather it is in fact an issue at the level of the revolution, affecting the people of the revolution in all their spectrums. As for the acts of belittling and confining, they are acts of blatant deceit and deception.

It is a step in a series of conspiratorial actions that have been going on for years, and it will not be the last step, but will be followed by more dangerous steps in the plan to eliminate the revolution of Ash-Sham.

Opening the crossings with the criminal regime is a serious matter that requires the entire Ummah to take the positions of real men to confront this major crime by every possible means.

O People of the Revolution, you who have given, sacrificed, and offered without relent:

It is time to correct the course, and it is time to restore the decision, for time has not yet passed and the opportunity is still there, and the masses of free people are waiting for the spark. Be faithful to the covenant and do not accept these decisions, the first of which is opening the crossings, and the last of which is eliminating the revolution of Damascus, and the sovereignty of the Syrian state as they planned in their conferences and meetings.

Would you accept reconciliation with the chemical regime, the ‘solidarity’ pit, and the massacres spread everywhere?!

It is the duty of the Ummah to rise up against these conspiracies to make it a new revolution that leaves nothing behind, a revolution against the tools and conspirators that returns the revolution to its correct path, be confident that falsehood is defeated, truth is victorious, and the outcome is for the righteous.
