Dutch AMrob Fest Channel Publishes Biased News about Hizb ut Tahrir and Works to Distort Islam

AMrob Fest Channel is a local channel in Southern Holland, broadcasted a biased video after it aired a picture of an unknown person waving an Islamic flag in a football stadium in the city of The Hague. The aforementioned channel consulted Dutch Orientalist Moritz Bercher to comment on this picture, who said: "It is possible that I am wrong, but I think that this picture pertains to Hizb ut Tahrir."

AMrob Fest Channel should have contacted us in order to confirm whether this picture pertains to Hizb ut Tahrir or not.  It is the duty of fair media, which possesses credibility and works to gain the trust of the people, to allow for more than one party to comment on any event, as it is the duty of the media to give the audience factual and reliable news.  The aforementioned channel contacted every so and so instead of contacting Hizb ut Tahrir. Had they contacted us, which is an easily accessible matter, they would have realized that the image has nothing to do with Hizb ut Tahrir whatsoever. Yet the media that claims impartiality and objectivity is fast in trampling its own values and principles.

However, it is likely that the AMrob Fest Channel does not want to broadcast the news correctly in order to justify and strengthen the reports that were promoted by the Freedom Party on the old alleged issue relating to a neighborhood in The Hague called "neighborhood law". These are of course past news raised every now and then to provoke anti-Islamic sentiments in the region. Whether this matter was a coincidence or not, its transmission contributes to the distortion of Islam. Manipulating news and the display of a simple innocent picture of an unknown person waving a flag in this way is intended to infuse fear into the hearts of many viewers. This is what happened indeed, many people have expressed their fear and abhorrence of that image, saying: "The extremists are working on the application of the Sharia in The Netherlands, or at least the purpose of that image is to provoke the Dutch."

And now, what is the subject we are talking about? A flag! Does a flag instigate all this fear? Or is it because this flag is a symbol of Islam? Do not be afraid of this flag, because the Western flags that represent capitalism and are attached to the Western embassies in Muslim countries in order to colonize them and steal the Muslim wealth are flags that should be feared by mankind, the Western flags that are raised on the military barracks in the Muslim countries which invaded and slaughtered women and children under the guise of peace and democracy should be feared!

During the broadcast of the video it was also said that Hizb ut Tahrir and the extremists are concerned about what is happening to Muslims in Syria. Yes, it is true, we are very concerned about the development and the fate of our people in Syria and in other Muslim countries who are abused by Western countries or by Western agents who are working on the implementation of the Western agenda. Yes, we support the resistance of our people in Syria against the American agent Bashar. No matter how hard people try to classify Muslims as liberals, moderates or extremists, they will not succeed. The war in Syria is a war of the entire Muslim Ummah, and the whole Ummah stands behind and supports the resistance of our people in Syria, so if we take the Western terminology into consideration then the whole Ummah is extremist.

Hizb ut Tahrir is a political party and its methodology is Islam. The work is confined to the intellectual and political road in order to resume the Islamic way of life. Therefore it works for the establishment of the Islamic State in a Muslim country, the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" State, which will work on the application of Islam in life, in the state and in society.

Hizb ut Tahrir does not work to change the laws in The Netherlands, nor does it work to change the laws in any of the Western countries. Moreover if  Hizb ut Tahrir sought to change the laws and the Constitution in The Netherlands, it would have announced that very clearly without fearing anyone or anything, just as the Hizb announced that in the countries in which it operates, such as Egypt, Syria, Pakistan and other Muslim countries. The issue here is not a question of tactics or fear, rather the issue is a question of the reality of the Hizb that seeks to institute an Islamic State, which cannot be achieved in any of the Western countries.
