The Political Trials... Signs Before the Fall
(Translated)

The government continues to allege and brag about allowing the freedom of political work, but it also does not stop pursuing the call to Islam from Hizb ut Tahrir’s Shabab. There it is today, 23^rd November 2017, once again it judges in Siliana (the court of first instance) a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, Ahmad Al-Faydi, charging him for “distribution of publications that will disturb the public security” (a charge from the archives of Bourqiba and Ben Ali).

This is a government that is annoyed by a press release issued by Hizb ut Tahrir, but it does not move a finger to achieve the minimum living requirements for a decent life for its youth, whom it claimed was its wealth and only capital, so it left them either the prey of deprivation, poverty and crime or the prey of uncensored ventures in the boats of death. Now it finds and strives to get around the simplest right of the Ummah by confiscating it right to the political work on an Islamic basis.

The judging of the Shabab for passing out press releases belonging to an established party as Hizb ut Tahrir is a scandal of a state which highlights the absurdity of those in charge of it and it exposes the falsity of its enemies to abide by the legal and constitutional controls which they themselves have put forth. They are another proof which proves their inability to fight a thought with a thought so they resorted to the police baton and court judgements in an desperate attempt to silence the voice of truth and to restore things to what they were before the revolution.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir declare to the public opinion that only one benefitting from the siege of the political Islamic work are the colonial circles who are enemies of the Ummah’s Aqeedah and its political view, and these oppressive and repressive practices will not change our determination and will not succeed in depriving us from our right and will not keep us away from doing our political work of calling to the resumption of the Islamic life until ends with the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah state (righteous Cailphate) on the method of the Prophethood.
