Obituary of a Dawah Carrier

[وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوفْ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الأَمَوَالِ وَالأنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ]

“We will certainly test you with a touch of fear and famine and loss of property, life, and crops. Give good news to those who patiently endure” [Al-Baqara 2:155]

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia mourns with deep sorrow and grief the passing of our brother Mabrouk Ben Nasser, who passed away on Thursday, Dhu al-Hijjah 23, 1446 AH, corresponding to June 19, 2025 CE. He was one of the Shabab (members) of Hizb ut Tahrir who worked within its ranks during the darkest periods of oppression and tyranny, having been detained in the prisons of Bourguiba and then Ben Ali. He spent his time patiently and with faith, continuing his steadfast adherence to his call and devoting himself to carrying it, calling for the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. He remained steadfast in his call, confident in the promise of his Lord, the Almighty, and the glad tidings of his noble Messenger (saw), until his death. This is how we regard him, and we do not vouch for anyone before Allah.

We ask Allah to grant our brother Mabrouk bin Nasser the highest level of Paradise, and to include him with those whom Allah has bestowed His blessings upon, including the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. What excellent companions they are!

[إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]
