Enough of the Trading with Women's Issues
(Translated)

Exposing the truth of what is happening from feminist movements in Tunisia and in the world at the current time, the women's section of Hizb ut Tahrir / Tunisia plans to hold a panel discussion entitled "Enough of the Trading with Women's Issues". The panel discussion is to be held - inshaAllah - on Saturday, the 7^th of December, 2 o'clock in the afternoon, at the Hizb's headquarters located in 17 Nahj, Bab Al-Khadra', Tunis.

The discussion aims to highlight the calamities and horrors experienced by the women throughout the world, placing the finger on the ambush of the disease and cause of the plague, to achieve a successful, effective medication that ensures a change of the situation and the realization of hopes.

The one familiar with the facts, figures and statistics regarding the condition of women in general, know with certainty that the West today does not possess what it promises the world in this regard. Western women are most in need of someone to give them justice and restore their rights and dignity, someone to raise the injustice imposed on them and the violence that menaces them. What is experienced by women in Tunisia and the rest of the Muslim lands is only a result of their procession in the footsteps of Western women and their traces, and a result of the import of concepts about life and the social system from the capitalist quagmire which is not fit for anyone to drink from.

The Muslim woman, protected by Islam, today is supposed to raise all her sorrows to the heaven with pride, glory and appreciation. The provisions of her Lord have bestowed upon her outmost honor, and perhaps that is what leads every possessor of reason to realize that real liberation for women and abolishment of the injustice imposed on them do neither occur by carrying glamorous, hollow slogans, nor by these abhorrent systems that trade and increase women's issues. Therefore the woman realizes that change is definitely possible through a new political vision, different from what is prevalent today. Concepts and convictions that honor and protect women, as well as recovering them from this grim reality, stem from this different political vision. This is what we truly and sincerely find in the Khilafah "Caliphate" system that honors women and considers them an honor to be protected. Wars are waged if only a single woman screams out: "Oh Khaleefah!", while the jurisdiction grants her justice if a hand stretched out to her in attack, and her father, husband and sons uphold her status with their lives.

Our Islam represents glory, elevation and dignity. So shall we exchange that which is lesser for that which is good?!
