Regarding the Seizure of Freedom Flotilla Campaign
(Translated)

Following the rapid and serious developments which surrounded the Freedom Flotilla campaign; attempting to break the siege imposed on our people in Gaza, which ended with the Jewish state navy capturing the ship, detaining the participants in the campaign and interrogating them, including Dr. Moncef Marzouki.

We in the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Tunisia:

First: express our outrage and condemnation of the barbaric arrest that befell the participants in the campaign, including Dr. Marzouki, and we consider that this accustomed procedure of the Jewish entity is an unjustified attack on a legitimate and humanitarian right recognized by all laws and customs.

Second: we express our extreme surprise of the cavalier formal follow-up to the campaign and the government’s delayed response, despite the seriousness of the events, and wonder about the political implications of this betrayal, and the reality of the official position in Tunisia regarding the issue of normalization with the Zionist enemy.

Third: we express our absolute solidarity with our besieged people in Gaza by the brutal Jewish enemy and the oppressive dictators who implement its orders and guarding its borders.

Fourth: we stress that this blatant attack is a further proof that the real and ultimate solution to the suffering of our people in Gaza cannot be achieved without the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of the Prophethood which eradicates the Jewish entity and returns Palestine, the whole of Palestine, as it was to the bosom of the Islamic Ummah.
