Russia Continues its War against Islam

On 12 November 2019, Russia’s South Military Court in city of Rostov-on-Don sentenced 6 Crimean Muslims from so called “Yalta Hizb ut Tahrir case” to 7-19 years of jail.

Muslim Aliev (19 years), Inver Bekirov (18 years), Emit-Useyin Kuku (12 years), Vadim Syruk (12 years), Refat Alimov (8 years) and Arsen Djepparov (7 years) were found guilty in organisating and taking participation in activities of Hizb ut Tahrir.

For past 5 years since Russia seized Crimea it is the fifth sentence in so-called “Hizb-ut-Tahrir cases” where Muslims are deceitfully accused in terrorist activities. Hizb ut Tahrir is international Islamic political party which aims to reestablish an Islamic way of life in Muslim countries via ideological and political struggle. Non-violent character of Hizb is well-known through the whole world and confirmed by 60 years of work in more than 40 countries. Any attempts to accuse Hizb in violent actions are trifling in their core.

Russian courts once more exposed its own accusations in terrorism. All court papers, event witnesses and experts of accusation side confirmed absence of planning, preparing or realization of terrorist acts. There are no weapons, killed or injured victims in these cases. The entire case is based on analysis of conversations of these brothers. The core of this case are doubtful examinations of talks on Islamic topics.

Absurdity and nonsense of this sentence is obvious, since those six men were sentences on terms that are not given in Russia to murderers, pedophiles and rapists.
This court case is just another prove for fact that Russia waged a war against Islam, its Dawah carriers and any manifestations of our great religion.

Russia is not concerned with terrorism, criminals or public safety. All of these are merely smoke-curtains for covering its obvious hostility towards devout, pure and moral people who are by their piety consistent examples not only for Muslims but also to all people.

Fear from the idea of Islam forces modern Russian authorities to assign with criminals; and sentence dawah carriers of this Divine religion who are not exposed even in small crimes to unthinkable prison terms.

This is also the approach towards Muslims in Russia and not only in Crimea. Things that are seen with Crimean Muslims are parts of Russia’s criminal policy against Islam inside the country as we see in Northern Caucasus and Volga region and abroad as we see in Syria.
Allah Almighty informs us about such tyrants in the Noble Quran:

(وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ)

“They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise!” [85:8]

We address the Muslims of Crimea as follows:

It is not the first time in the history of Crimea when Russia undertakes attacks on Muslim Crimean Tatar people. Today Russian criminal authorities again oppress Crimean Muslims without any reasons.

This barbaric policy has been implemented since Czar’s Russia and atheistic Communism, where modern the Russian Federation is merely their legal successor in this criminal policy against all Muslim nations in general and particularly Muslims in Crimea.

And if in 1944 the whole Crimean Tatar people were assigned to be traitors and in the 90’s, it was blamed on extremists, today its best representatives are charged for involvement in terrorist activities.

O Muslims of Crimea!

Tyrants like Catherine II and Stalin who committed even bigger crimes against you and tried not only to wipe out Crimea from any Islamic manifestations but also tried to wipe out your physical presence in these blessed land, have died and were buried in graves. At the same time, despite all these attempts, you persevered and from day to day, you strengthen and return to the past comprehension of Islam and its implementation. Near is the day when modern “counterterrorists” will disappear like those who disappeared with their regimes those who charged you with treachery and extremism in the past, and you will rejoice in your safeguarded lands and the implementation of Islam in your daily life.

(وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ يَنْصُرُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ)

“And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice at the victory, with the help of Allah, He helps whom He wills, and He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.” [30:4-5].
