 Press Release
The World Food Programme and Other Organizations:
The Foundation of Houthi Resilience in Contrast to the Collapse of English Agents
(Translated)

In its issue published on Thursday, September 7, 2023, Al-Thawra Newspaper featured a report titled "The Food Program Sets a Trap for Sanaa through Aid Gateways." The report discusses the reduction of food aid provided to Yemen and the program's efforts to obtain the signature of the Sanaa government, seeking its agreement to reduce the assistance.

The World Food Programme is considered one of America's tools for controlling nations and implementing its colonial schemes. It is in no way believable that America or any other capitalist Western country cares about the humanitarian aspect. Capitalism, as a principle, does not recognize human value; it disregards it entirely and only assigns value to material worth. Capitalism has considered colonialism an integral part of itself when it used it as a means to spread its principles. Therefore, it is superficial to view the aid provided by Western countries to Muslims or other afflicted people as humanitarian. It is absurd to see these supposedly helping hands as pure, free from deceit and cunning, while they are tainted with bloodshed.

America has opened the door wide to various organizations since the beginning of the war in Yemen. The Houthi rebels, who ousted Britain's agents after seizing power and monopolizing it for decades, had no source of funding since they were considered rebels against what they called "legitimacy." These organizations funded the Houthis in their controlled areas under the pretext of humanitarian work, helping them withstand and stand up to people's anger amid a lack of resources until they stabilized their rule. The Humanitarian Affairs Council, affiliated with the Houthis, revealed that "the number of non-governmental organizations operating in Yemen is 462 organizations," and Secretary-General of the Council, Abdulmohsen Al-Tawoos, stated that "the funding provided by organizations in the field of humanitarian work during the past year amounted to $1,220,472,000" (Debriefer, April 7, 2021).

Yemen has the world's largest humanitarian response from external organizations, all of which are headquartered in the capital, Sanaa. The Houthis have taken the lion's share of these aids, and their followers have not questioned themselves about how they can raise the slogan "Death to America" and accept assistance from it. A recent report from the Sanaa Center for Strategic Studies (a non-governmental Yemeni organization) revealed that the United Nations has received more than $18 billion to finance humanitarian response plans in Yemen over the past six years. The report, as seen by Arabi21, states that "humanitarian aid in Yemen does not reach the beneficiaries as it should; instead, it is diverted to other entities" (Arabi21, March 22, 2022).

The World Food Programme or any other organizations do not need the approval of the authorities in Sanaa or elsewhere to reduce the aid. This would essentially legitimize the Houthi group and imply that they have authority. It is widely recognized that Houthi control is only superficial, with hidden activities by British agents represented by the perishing party. They no longer require assistance, as they collect trillions of Yemeni riyals annually from taxes, customs, zakat (charity), and endowments, with zero commitments. It's clear to those with insight that all state institutions in Houthi-controlled areas have become revenue-oriented, even those that are supposed to be service-oriented by law. Additionally, they have increased all fees and imposed new ones, further burdening the people.

Our people in Yemen and in all Muslim countries must realize that Western capitalist nations will not be preoccupied with the affairs of Yemen or any other Muslim country out of concern for their impoverished populations, compassion for their orphaned and homeless children, or to leave behind their internal problems and financial crises. They will not spend their money to provide relief to people in other countries, leaving their citizens homeless and without income or support. Instead, they consider these issues to be internal matters.

It is essential to understand that Muslims do not need aid because their countries are rich in resources beneath the earth's surface and on its surface, were it not for the Western dominance through puppet rulers. The people of Yemen suffer from the dominance of puppet regimes in the south, north, east, and west. The salvation of the people of Yemen and all Muslims lies in working diligently with Hizb ut Tahrir to uproot these puppet regimes and establish the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood upon their ruins, to spread the light of Islam and its just rule once again on the Earth.

Allah Almighty says:

“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.” [Al-Anfal:24].
