Significance and Implications of the Parties' Meeting at the American Democratic Institute in Aden

The American National Democratic Institute in Aden hosted on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, a dialogue session between party leaders and political components in Yemen, under the auspices of the American Agency for International Development (USAID). The session was attended by 24 parties and political components supportive of what is referred to as the legitimacy, including the Southern Transitional Council participating and the Southern Transitional Council itself, the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, political councils from Hadramout, Al-Mahra, and Shabwa, including the Hadramout Comprehensive Conference. Leading the attendees were parties supportive of the Aden government: the General People's Congress, Islah Party, Socialist Party, Nasserist Organization, Peaceful Southern Movement, Justice and Construction Party, Yemeni Rashad Union, Renaissance Movement for Peaceful Change, National Solidarity, Union of Popular Forces, Yemeni Unity Gathering, Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Peace and Development Party, Republican Party, People's Democratic Party, Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party - National.

This sudden political appearance of the parties comes as a disappointment to the hopes of the Yemeni people, as it openly accepts being convened at the American National Democratic Institute, without regard for the sentiments of the faithful, and without a glimmer of hope from the participating parties and political components. This reiterates the image of the renewed conflict between the entrenched political influence of Britain in Yemen, both south and north, and the influence of the new colonizer, America, which has incited wars and armed conflicts in Yemen for over six decades.

The Houthis have turned a blind eye to this party dialogue session, seeing it as part of the American plan that supports them. This session was not mentioned in the Al-Thawra Newspaper in Sana'a, which usually covers events in southern Yemen on its front page!

This meeting confirms to the people of Yemen the subservience of these parties to the Western infidel (kafir), as they have become tools receiving orders and implementing schemes, especially since many of their representatives are at the top of the power hierarchy. The Western infidel did not suffice with giving orders to the rulers of the country, but they penetrated into the parties that produce these rulers. Truly, our truthful and trusted Prophet Muhammad (saw) spoke the truth when he said:

«إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحْيِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ» “If you don’t feel any shame, do whatever you like.”

America fights Muslims day and night and provides full support to the Jewish entity, while the leadership of these parties sits under its umbrella, while our people's blood flows in Gaza before, during, and after this session! Their actions are reprehensible.

This session at the American National Democratic Institute in the south is American pressure on the Aden government through its agents in the south from parties and political components, in favour of the Houthis, their new clients in Sana'a, who have been given leeway in the north through military control by the pioneer of democracy and ballot boxes. This pressure coincides with the deployment of military forces from the National Shield Forces supported by Riyadh in Lahj province and other areas bordering Taiz province, where positions formerly held by forces loyal to the Southern Transitional Council backed by the UAE have been taken over. It also coincides with Rashad Al-Alimi's visit to Marib city and a potential pre-emptive military strike on the frontlines before heading into a new round of negotiations.

It is incumbent upon the people of Yemen to realize that the parties participating in this dialogue session are under the blatant American umbrella, they have become bankrupt and are receiving orders dictated to them. If they were to use their intellect and return to their Aqeedah (creed), they would find radical solutions to all aspects of life. There is no need for them to sit with the Americans overtly or with the British overtly or behind the scenes! The duty is to adhere to the creed of the Islamic Ummah and its issues, to break free from the shackles of the old and new colonization, and to submit to the ideas, judgments, and application of Islam on the ground by establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. Hizb ut Tahrir, the pioneer that does not lie to its people, continues its march, nourishing the steps to dismantle capitalism in all its aspects and to resume Islamic way of life under the shade of the Khilafah. For this noble duty, we call upon all Muslims. Allah (swt) says:

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ]

“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.” [Al-Anfal:24].
