Press Release
Western Aid to Yemen is Deadly Poison and Requesting it is Clear Betrayal
(Translated)
Al-Thawra Newspaper, published in Sana'a on Friday, January 31, 2025, featured two headlines on its front page. The first, a prominent headline, read: "In Preparation for Any Escalation by Aggressor Nations, Yemeni Tribes Declare Mobilization and Readiness." The second stated: "Baja'ala Emphasizes the Need for Emergency Plans and Rapid Humanitarian Response."
Under the first headline, the newspaper discussed the readiness of Yemeni tribes, their continued mobilization, recruitment, and training to confront any military escalation from "America, the Zionist enemy, and their agents." It also rejected the American decision to classify the Houthis as a terrorist organization. Under the second headline, the newspaper reported on an appeal made by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Samir Baja'ala, to Philippe Costa, the Cooperation Coordinator of the International Committee of the Red Cross, along with representatives of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
The Houthis' mobilization of tribal crowds will not remove them from the scope of the war against Islam under the pretext of "terrorism"—a war they supported when it began in 2001, just as their patron, Iran, did. America participated in and backed this war on the ground, opening its airspace to American planes and enabling the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq. Those who took part in the war against Islam were lured by the slogan of fighting "terrorism," believing that the tide would never turn against them—yet one day, they too will fall under its grip!
As for the aid, the Houthis have fallen into its trap—a trap carefully set by the so-called "international community" to strip them of their Quranic path, lure them to its side, and turn them into its new allies, imprinting them with its inherently anti-Islamic ideology, which dates back to the Westphalia Conference of 1648. Since 2014, the Houthis have survived on aid from international organizations, unable to function without their programs. Even after the exposure of espionage networks among foreign aid workers in August 2023, they did not sever ties with these organizations. On August 27, 2024, the head of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, directed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the so-called "Government of Change and Reconstruction," Jamal Ahmed Amer, to "enhance relations and cooperation with the United Nations and international organizations." Similarly, on December 11, 2024, Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahwi met with his ministers to discuss "ways to benefit from humanitarian aid" and "address stalled projects funded by international organizations operating in Yemen." Meetings between Al-Rahwi’s ministers—especially Jamal Amer and Samir Baja'ala—and representatives of foreign organizations in Yemen have been increasing, all in pursuit of this poisoned aid! How can one seek help from their eternal enemy?!
The true purpose of Western aid organizations is to strip the Houthis of their political decision-making power. The reality is clear: colonialist, kufar nations—especially America—never provide aid except to extend their influence, impose their dominance, and serve their own interests. Aid is merely one of the tools America employs to colonize nations and assert its control over them. Since America entered the Middle East as a new colonial power, it has used aid as a means of infiltration. This was evident in its strategic planning during the Istanbul Conference of November 1950, where American diplomats assigned to the Arab group, led by George McGhee, then a U.S. State Department official, devised plans that included "using cooperation with local populations as a method of gaining access to the region." As always, they disguised their schemes with misleading names, coating poison with honey! Thus, these poisoned aid so-called "cooperation programs", are at the core of America's strategy to penetrate the region, manufacture loyal agents, plunder resources, and drain blood. The Western aid funneled into Yemen, whether in the north or south, is only distributed in coordination with the current rulers—be it the Presidential Leadership Council led by Al-Alimi or the Supreme Political Council led by Al-Mashat—who are skilled in nothing but begging for aid and executing the agendas of their colonial masters.
Blessed are the people of faith and wisdom—if their actions are purely for the sake of Allah, striving to establish the rule of Islam on earth after more than a hundred years of its absence. If they follow in the footsteps of their forefathers, the Ansar, they may attain the pleasure of Allah, who says:
[وَعَدَ اللهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي اْلأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ]
“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them” [An-Nur:55].
This will come to pass if they walk the same path and earn the pleasure of their Rab and His Messenger. For Islam is Allah’s final message, and Muhammad (saw) is the last of the prophets and messengers, who said: «ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ» “Then there will be a Khilafah according to the method of Prophethood.”
