The Security "Intimidation" Council's Resolutions Bring No Good
(Translated)

The UN Security Council adopted in its meeting on Wednesday 26/2/2014, chaired by the periodic President for the month of February, the delegate of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Nations, Ambassador Raymonda Murmukitti, adopted a new resolution on Yemen, No. 2140, stipulating the formation of a sanctions committee connected to the Security Council to monitor and facilitate the freezing of funds, issue a travel ban, and collect information about individuals and entities involved in obstructing the transitional period or threatening the work of bringing security or stability to Yemen, the resolution obliges all Member States for an initial period consisting of one year from the date of adoption of the decision to take the necessary measures to prevent individuals designated by the Committee from entering their territory or transiting through it.

The UN Security Council confirmed in its resolution that the process of transfer of power in Yemen has not yet been completed, as has been agreed upon by the signatories of the Gulf initiative and its operational mechanism .. calling in this regard upon all Yemenis to respect the application of the political transition process and commit to the principles of the operational mechanism

The new resolution is the third consecutive within three years, beginning with Resolution No. 2014 in 2011, followed by Resolution No. 2051 of 2012 and finally Resolution No. 2140 of 2014, the Resolution's draft was prepared by Britain, and through which a sanctions committee in accordance with Chapter VII for the first time - specific to the breach of security and international peace - will be created, whereas, the previous two resolutions were created under Chapter VI and the general principles.

It is naive and politically foolish for the politicians in Yemen to think that the Security Council comes with goodness, especially that with this decision, Yemen has placed under the seventh chapter as Iraq was earlier placed; the justification for this decision was the removal of Saddam, Saddam has gone, but the decision is still in effect?! This decision authorizes the Security Council to carry out measures that are not confined to individuals alone, but the state as a whole and its political entities; Article 42 in this Chapter states that "Should the Security Council consider that measures provided for in Article 41 would be inadequate or have proved to be inadequate, it may take such action by air, sea, or land forces as may be necessary to maintain or restore international peace and security. Such action may include demonstrations, blockade, and other operations by air, sea, or land forces of Members of the United Nations".

O People of Yemen, are these the demands of the revolution which you have called for? And are those politicians of leaders, parties and organizations worthy of leading the country while they were the ones who handed it down to the ones who observe toward a believer neither pact nor honor?!! Indeed, how would a wolf be blamed for its aggression when the shepherd is himself the enemy of the sheep?!! Also, what have the Security Council and the UN done in every country they entered except cause corruption, destruction and ignite a Fitna (tumult) between its people and divide them until every state became smaller than the leg of an ant, the United Nations were recorded in the distant and near history with only all that is evil; The attack on the Muslims and their extermination in East Turkistan by China, and West Turkistan by Russia, as well as what has happened in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Afghanistan, Iraq, Myanmar, Syria and Central Africa and others ... was all under the acknowledgment of this organization!! As well as the organizations emanating from it such as the Security Counci that gave its states the right to revoke the decisions that do not serve their policies and are inconsistent with their plans and objectives under the pretext of the right of "veto", and here it is silent about the crimes of Bashar against our Muslim brothers in Syria, despite committing heinous crimes, and passing every red line, and speak with no shame about the crimes committed against Muslims in the countries of the world that the Council of "intimidation" is silent over, giving the green light for more.

The concern of the politicians in Yemen was to achieve their immediate selfish narrow interests; with their childish altercation, they used to wag the red cape to the colonizer hateful West, who cares only for its own interests even if it was at the expense of killing thousands of humans, and whoever thought good of these people then let him review his own faith and look to the Book of Allah (swt) Who said:

[وَلَن تَرْ‌ضَىٰ عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَ‌ىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ]

"Never will the Jews or Christians be pleased with you unless you follow their creed" [TMQ 2:120]

And Allah (swt) said:

[فَتَرَ‌ى الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَ‌ضٌ يُسَارِ‌عُونَ فِيهِمْ يَقُولُونَ نَخْشَىٰ أَن تُصِيبَنَا دَائِرَ‌ةٌ ۚ فَعَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍ‌ مِّنْ عِندِهِ فَيُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا أَسَرُّ‌وا فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ نَادِمِينَ]

"And yet you can't see how those in whose hearts there is disease vie with one another for their good will, saying [to themselves], "We fear lest fortune turn against us." But Allah may well bring about good fortune [for the believers] or any [other] event of His own devising, whereupon those [waverers] will be smitten with remorse for the thoughts which they had secretly harboured within themselves" [TMQ 5:52]

Hizb ut Tahrir, strong in its ideas and faith, honest in its advice and declaration, calls upon the people of belief and wisdom not to refer to the oppressors, and to work with it for the establishment of the righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" on the ruins of this oppressive ruling, and indeed, the West's interventions in diverting this revolution away from its path and its tutelage over  it is only because of its fear of the Ummah's return to her Khilafah "Caliphate", but far, very far (that which they are trying to achieve), for Allah (swt) has promised, and His Messenger has given the glad tidings, and we are working.

[وَيَمْكُرُ‌ونَ وَيَمْكُرُ‌ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ‌ الْمَاكِرِ‌ينَ]

"They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah." [TMQ 8:30]
