A massive document leak has revealed the secret financial dealings of some of the world’s richest people and most powerful leaders. The so-called Pandora Papers describe, (quote) ‘An opaque financial universe where the global elite are shielded from paying taxes, probes and accountability”. The files were obtained by the (ICIJ) International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, and this week 140 international news organisations joined hands to publish and analyse the files.
