The Recent NATO Summit in Washington and Seventy-Five Years of Aggression and Arrogance

The US President, Joe Biden, inaugurated the NATO summit in Washington DC. This summit coincided with the 75th anniversary of the founding of the aggressive international military alliance, led by America and Western European countries. This NATO alliance has been igniting endless regional and local wars, and it does so always. It unleashes havoc and corruption upon the world, creating countless hotbeds of conflict, and flashpoints of tension on the five continents.
At the inauguration of the NATO summit, Biden spoke deceptively sweet words. He praised the NATO alliance and exaggerated its achievements. In his speech on the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of its establishment, he linked the occasion to the importance of the same place where the original treaty was signed 75 years ago. However, in reality, he ignored the fact that NATO had an expansionist, colonialist nature. So he falsely, and with fabrication, described it as having contributed to spreading global peace and stability!
The current summit focused in general on the NATO alliance’s steadfast support for Ukraine, especially since it came in the wake of Russia bombing Ukrainian cities with missiles last Monday, which led to the destruction of a children’s hospital in Kiev. This was a reason for the attention of the alliance leaders in their deliberations, which dealt with the Ukrainian file for the largest part of their summit, such that it overshadowed other files. They pledged to give Ukraine additional financial aid worth $43 billion during the coming year, and committed to providing it with new weapons to protect its airspace, including F-16 fighter jets.
As for the deployment of new advanced American weapons in Europe, the Biden administration announced that it would begin deploying long-range missiles in Germany from 2026. It asserted the deployment of other new weapons in Germany. Both the White House and the German government announced, on the sidelines of the NATO summit, for the first time since the Cold War, the stationing of highly sophisticated American weapons in Germany, starting from 2026, capable of reaching Russian territory This included the deployment of Tomahawk cruise missiles that reach a distance of more than 2,000 kilometers, and SM-6 anti-aircraft missiles, in addition to the deployment of newly developed weapons that are hypersonic, which grant better protection to the NATO allies in Europe.
The summit also called for strengthening relations with Japan and South Korea ahead of holding talks with the leaders of Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea, on the closing day of the summit. For his part, South Korean President, Yoon Seok-yeol, and Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, pledged to strengthen security cooperation with NATO.
As for Russia, it warned America and the West of NATO’s escalation of hostility against Russia, and said that it would respond to every escalation. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in St. Petersburg, that “Russian security will be exposed to danger because of such weapons, and this mandates a response from Russia.”
China also expressed its condemnation of the NATO summit statement. A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman on Thursday expressed China’s denunciation and strong opposition to the declaration issued by the NATO summit, and pointed out that the NATO statement, inflames tensions in the Asia-Pacific region, “full of Cold War mentality and belligerent rhetoric, and China-related content full of provocations, lies, incitement and smears.” China has made solemn formal approaches to NATO about this.
The view of the world by the main American and European members of the NATO alliance is a view of hegemony and arrogance, while America’s view of the alliance in particular is a view of exploitative leadership and management, governed by material benefit. America and its major allies see the world as their farm, and a site of colonialism, exploitation and looting.
America uses the NATO alliance to limit the capabilities of competing great powers, especially Russia and China, which are besieged by America, and the NATO alliance, by deploying forces and military bases, as well as building military alliances with regional, minor states to besiege China and Russia. At the same time, America imposes protection, subservience, and discipline upon its European partners, under the American security umbrella.
As for the rest of the countries of the world, America, through the NATO alliance, either undertakes actual military intervention to restrain them, or to tear apart their unity, as it did with Libya and Serbia, or it undertakes intimidation and threatening, and waving a big stick to deter them and force them to comply, as it does with other states.
NATO was originally established to deter the Soviet Union and prevent the expansion of its influence in Europe. It was supposed to be dissolved and abolished after the abolition of the Warsaw Pact, under the leadership of Communist Russia, and after the fall of communism and the end of the camp of its communist states, and the complete dissolution of the Soviet Union contract. However, what happened was that America and the Western countries maintained the existence of NATO, despite the disappearance of its traditional communist enemy. Then they invented a new enemy for themselves and the alliance, which is Islam, which they demonized, calling it extremism, terrorism, and fundamentalism.
The expansion of NATO, its inclusion of more countries such as Sweden and Finland, and support for Ukraine’s candidacy to join it in the future, all of this would prolong the life of colonialism and arrogance. It makes bullying weak and poor countries, intimidating them, and intimidating their people, an international practice and custom as a globally, entrenched tradition.
This abnormal international scenario is due to the existence of such a dominant, unjust alliance that imposes on Muslims a burdensome reality that mandates change, removal and eradication, in order to rid the world of its evils. Its continuity means the continuation of injustice and arrogance as a negative feature of international relations, as a distorted nature of the structure of those relations, and as a consolidation of the hegemony of the major colonialist powers.
This required change is inevitable to save humanity from this burdensome legacy, that humanity inherited after World War II, which burdens Muslims, and with them all the oppressed and crushed people in the world.
This great mission can only be undertaken by the carriers of the Dawah, and those who carry the Risaalah (message) among the ideological Muslims, who work seriously and persistently to resume the Islamic way of life and establish the Second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. The Khilafah Rashidah is the only hope for saving humanity from the tyranny of the capitalist world, and its predatory military machine, represented by a criminal alliance, NATO.
