China and Germany Warn Putin Not to Use Nuclear Weapons in Ukraine

According to Reuters:

Chinese President Xi Jinping and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Friday condemned threats to use atomic weapons in Ukraine, with Scholz warning that Russia risked "crossing a line" in the international community by resorting to nuclear force.

In the first visit by a G7 leader to China since the COVID-19 pandemic, Scholz pressed Xi to prevail on Russia to end its invasion of Ukraine, saying Beijing had a responsibility as a major power to do so.

Xi agreed that both leaders "jointly oppose the use or threat of use of nuclear weapons" over Ukraine, according to a readout by the state-run Xinhua news agency, though he refrained from criticising Russia or calling on Moscow to withdraw its troops.

Scholz arrived in Beijing on a one-day visit that tested the waters between China and the West after years of increasing tensions, with talks touching on reciprocal market access, climate change and COVID-19 vaccines.

Scholz made the trip while facing criticism from within his own coalition about relations with Beijing. He has tried to balance securing a level playing field for European companies with shedding Germany's heavy reliance on the Chinese market.

During lunch with Scholz, Xi stressed that it is easy to destroy political trust but difficult to rebuild it, and both sides need to take care of it, according to Xinhua.

Earlier, while greeting Scholz at the Great Hall of the People in the heart of Beijing, Xi urged the two countries to work more closely on international issues.

Once again, the Chinese leadership demonstrates the superiority of its political skills in comparison to Russia. Receiving German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at this time is a significant political achievement for Chinese President Xi Jinping, who only last week was confirmed for a third five-year term as China’s leader, at the head of a new politburo standing committee composed entirely of his personal loyalists. In his first two terms, Xi had to tread carefully between factions led by his immediate two predecessors, Hu Jintao and Jiang Zemin.

Furthermore, Xi Jinping understands what Russian President Vladimir Putin has apparently failed to realise. The West is itself bitterly divided. The US and Britain are fearful of French and German ascendancy, while friction exists also between France and Germany, as well as between the US and the UK. By recklessly invading Ukraine, Putin is forcing the unification of these four powers. For years, France and Germany have attempted some type of liaison with Russia, only to be continuously rebuffed by the foolishly haughty Russian president who insisted on being recognised as an equal to America. Vanity is one of the greatest dangers in international politics, as it is in ordinary life also. China, on the other hand, downplays its strength and sees value at this time in reaching out to Germany, while distancing itself a little from Russia.

It is incumbent upon the politically aware within the Muslim Ummah to carefully follow the developments in the international situation in order to better comprehend great power dynamics. The disbelieving West’s leadership of the world is fraught with rivalry, conflict and tension that presents the opportunity for the Muslim Ummah to rapidly arise as a major world power. This will not happen as long as Muslim countries continue to be ruled by the remnants of colonial agents and systems. But with the permission of Allah (swt), the Muslim Ummah shall soon arise and re-establish the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophet (saw) under sincere, capable, politically aware leadership that shall reunify the lands of Muslims, liberate their occupied territories, implement the Islamic sharia, restore the Islamic way of life, and carry the light of Islam to the entire world. The Khilafah State shall, almost from its inception, enter the ranks of the great powers on account of its vast size, vibrant population, overflowing resources, unparalleled geography and unique Islamic ideology. The deep rivalries and fractures within the present international situation will only expedite its rise. Allah (swt) says in the Noble Qur’an:

(تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيعًا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ) “You reckon them united while their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people devoid of reason.” [Al-Hashr: 14].

Netanyahu Set to Return as Leader of Illegal Jewish entity

The New York Times this week reflects on expected tensions between US President Joe Biden and incoming Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu of the illegal Jewish entity:

And on Thursday, Mr. Netanyahu secured his own return to power with a new, far-right coalition that will once again make him prime minister — an endorsement of the aggressive, in-your-face style that has been at the heart of his clashes with Mr. Biden and other American presidents over the years.

The two leaders will find themselves in the position of sparring anew over issues that have long strained their relationship.

It is the most complicated of relationships, vacillating between warmth and combat, sometimes on the same day. But Dennis Ross, the former Mideast negotiator who used to accompany Mr. Biden, when he was vice president, on trips to see Mr. Netanyahu, noted in an interview on Thursday that the relationship was better than the one between Mr. Netanyahu and President Barack Obama.

“Bibi’s view of Biden is different than Bibi’s view of Obama,” Mr. Ross said, using the common nickname for Mr. Netanyahu. “Bibi was convinced that Obama was trying to undercut him, and Obama was convinced that Bibi was working with the Republicans to undercut him.”

“He viewed Biden as someone who he would disagree with, but that Biden’s heart and emotions were all with Israel,” said Dennis Ross, who oversaw Mideast diplomacy at the National Security Council in Mr. Obama’s presidency.

Disagreements remain. The president favors a Palestinian state to resolve the decades-long clash with Israel. Mr. Netanyahu does not. The Israeli prime minister called the 2015 Iran nuclear deal a disaster for Israel and the region. Mr. Biden said it was the best way to keep Iran from developing nuclear weapons. And the two men have been at odds for years over the construction of Israeli settlements in Palestinian territory.

The tensions between the illegal Jewish entity and the US are real. But these tensions are like those caused by a frenzied rabid dog trying to break away from the leash held firmly by its master. The US wants the illegal entity to be rabid and frenzied because America is aware that the Jews are a very weak, small population in the midst of powerful, massive Muslim countries. The Western agent rulers in Muslim countries have to work hard to restrain their sincere Muslim populations from fighting and evicting the occupying criminal Jews. The US knows that if it lets go of the leash, then the mad dog will only get itself killed, foolishly trying to take on an opponent far greater and stronger than it. Abu Huraira (r.a.) reported Allah’s Messenger (saw) as saying:

“The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.” [Sahih Muslim: 2922]
