Under Secular Man-made Laws
There are NO guarantees for Women’s rights
News:
On the 14th of April 2016, the UK Independent Newspaper reported that female prisoners that were released and were assessed as having no where to live, were given tents or sleeping bags to serve their homeless needs. A quote from the article states, “According to the report, many of the inmates at Bronzefield (prison) may be seen as vulnerable. Around one third of the women reported having a disability and 44 per cent said they felt depressed or suicidal.”
Comment:
The idea that in wealthily Democratic nations across Europe and America millions of women live on the streets as a social norm is a situation that has been established over many decades in liberal secular politics. This example of how the penal system treats women reflects the wider governmental reality that equality between men and women actually never delivered any real benefits or progress for the status of women in any society. These feminist principles were merely a Capitalistic tool to remove the state’s duty to its women and leave females in society devoid of male guardianship so that they are left to perform both the male and female roles. Numerous social studies have shown this has left women overburdened with mental and physical stress and left them vulnerable to abuse and neglect. The European Observatory on Homelessness compiled a comprehensive report in 2014, one of the findings was that “in the UK, homeless families assisted under homelessness laws are often lone women parents.” With millions of refugees and other desperate persons fleeing their homelands with the hope of securing a better future, it is important to realize the hard truth that Capitalist societies are expert in destroying the stability of foreign nations but are failing poorly to look after their own citizens, especially women. Contrast this with the way women are respected and valued in the Islamic political system. In the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate), housing is not an optional luxury or a privilege for those that can afford to live a life of in interest-loaded debt. Housing for all, male and female is a basic right that the Khaleefah – the Islamic leader MUST secure for all citizens, including non-Muslims, or he is accountable to Allah (swt). In a revealing quote from ‘A Journey Through the Crimea to Constantinople’ (1789) by Lady Elizabeth Craven, British Traveller and Writer, she wrote of the excellent condition of Ottoman women as follows, “The Turks in their conduct towards our sex are an example to all other nations...- and I think them (Turkish women) in their manner of living, capable of being the happiest creatures breathing.”
With the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood, the world would once again see this noble alternative to the current state of despair for the worlds millions of women as Allah (swt) made it an obligation upon men to look after the affairs and need of women specifically as stated in Surah Nisa verse 34:
“Men are (appointed) in charge (and the caretakers) of women _ (they are held responsible for maintaining the women physically, financially, and emotionally) _ because Allah has given the one precedence over the other. Also, because they spend their means (to support the women).”
