Comment:
After Barack Obama was elected as US President in 2009, one of important announcements he made was to declare an end to the Iraq war and the complete withdrawal of U.S troops from Iraq by end of 2011. This was part of his campaign promises and the popular decision he made. Obama said; “As promised the rest of our troops in Iraq will come home by the end of the year. After nearly nine years, America's war in Iraq will be over,” Obama said. [The New York Times, 21 October 2011]
Through Obama's entire 8 years of administration, keeping the troops in Iraq or send back the forces was against his promises to the Americans and the family members of the armies involved. Obama was trying to hide his action by carefully selecting specific terms to be used such “special forces” or “special operation troops” and limit the scope to train, advise and assist the Iraqi Armies. This is merely showing the “kindness” of the US to help Iraq against ISIS. The Special Forces was initially started with less than 100 forces in October 2015 but now in July 2016 it has been increased to 4,600.
The additional troops provides a significant trending of the activities in Iraq, the importance of US Army presence and the continuity of US policy in the Middle East. Obama’s recent action seems to agree with the former Vice President Dick Cheney’s statement, claiming that Iraq was in “good shape” before the withdrawal of the forces.
The US has failed on the military airstrikes together with its allies and Russia. Now changing the action, moving on the ground to retake the land. Under the administration of previous President George W. Bush, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were against Al-Qaeda and aimed for the removal of Saddam Hussein from power. Today an almost similar justification is used against ISIS. This will continue even after the Obama administration regardless who will be the next president.
Iraq is being used by US as the base to control the region. Iraqis will not have any opportunities to lead or fully be in control by their own. The US will create whatever reason to stay in Iraq.
Oh Muslim Army in Iraq,
Instead working with the US to support killing other Muslims let us unite under the army of Khilafah "Caliphate". Didn’t you see that the US is playing games in Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran and Yemen for its own benefit, to divide, conquer the Muslim land, prevent the unity of Muslim and establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate" state upon the method of the Prophethood to implement the Sharia Law?
Didn’t you see that US led Iraq War has divided Iraq into the sectarian states, which make the Muslim to fight each other and make them easier to control the Muslims compared to the united Muslims like Muhajirin and Ansar?
The Muslim armies should not work with armies of Kuffar, be united against them, remove the chain surrounding you, be fully independent from their control, as Allah (swt) has ordered below:
“Those who look for (a misfortune for) you, so, if there is a victory for you, they say, “Were we not with you?” But if there is a gain for the disbelievers, they say (to them), “Had we not overpowered you, still protected you from the believers?” So, Allah will decide between you on the Doomsday. Allah shall never give the disbelievers a way against the believers.” [An-Nisa: 4:141]
