Russia Intensifies War in Syria after Loss in Aleppo
The breaking of the siege last week has prompted accelerated Russian military strikes in Syria, from warships in the Mediterranean Sea and bombers from an airbase in Iran. According to the New York Times:
Russia flexed its muscles again over Syria on Friday, for the first time launching cruise missiles at targets from warships in the Mediterranean Sea days after beginning bombing runs from a base in Iran.
Taken together, the new military moves appeared to be a demonstration that Russia has the ability to strike from virtually all directions in a region where it has been reasserting its power — from Iran, from warships in the Caspian Sea, from its base in the Syrian coastal province of Latakia and now from the Mediterranean.
America has opened the way for Russia to attack the revolution in Syria from all sides. It is America that has made Iran cooperate with Russia to the extent of providing an airbase to it.
Meanwhile America continues to facilitate Russia in the Crimea. On Friday the U.S. Pentagon downplayed the mobilisation of tens of thousands of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border, saying that these constituted part of regular military exercises in Russia and were not a threat to Ukrainian sovereignty.
U.S. Provides Air Cover for Kurds in Syria
It is the United States that is orchestrating all aspects of the war on Muslims in Syria. It stands ready to use force if any element exceeds its jurisdiction as determined in the American plan. They New York Times reports that on Friday:
The Pentagon said it had scrambled aircraft over northeastern Syria in a warning to the government after Syrian warplanes hit areas controlled by Kurdish fighters that are working with the American military to fight the Islamic State. The government and the Kurdish-led forces have had only occasional skirmishes, maintaining a kind of de facto truce, and the government airstrikes came amid their most serious clashes yet.
The US has never provided such support for the revolutionaries that it claims to be supporting in Syria. Actually, the US is working against the revolution from all sides.
US Announces Staff Reduction from Saudi Arabia for Yemen planning
The US continues to pursue Obama's strategy of remote controlling wars by announcing staff withdrawal from Saudi Arabia. Reuters reports:
'Fewer than five US service people are now assigned full-time to the "Joint Combined Planning Cell," which was established last year to coordinate U.S. support, including air-to-air refueling of coalition jets and limited intelligence-sharing, Lieutenant Ian McConnaughey, a U.S. Navy spokesman in Bahrain, told Reuters.
'That is down from a peak of about 45 staff members who were dedicated to the effort full-time in Riyadh and elsewhere, he said.'
However at the same time there is no reduction in the intensity of the war in Yemen, which may increase again after the breakdown in so-called peace negotiations in Kuwait.
When will the world realise that America has lost its determination for fighting wars in Muslim lands and is now dependent on others to maintain American superiority in the world.
India Admits using over a Million Pellets
Indian-occupied Kashmir has the highest concentration of military force anywhere in the world with around 600,000 troops stationed there. But despite this concentration, Indian forces have resorted to using excessive ammunition in the recent unrest in Kashmir. According to a report in the Pakistani paper, The News:
Indian paramilitary force has admitted before the Jammu and Kashmir High Court that it used 1.3 million pellets in 32 days to control street protests in held Kashmir.
The report continues to say that over 8000 teargas shells were also used and as well as more than 2000 plastic pellets.
The armies of Muslim countries remain in their barracks while Muslim civilian populations throughout the world face horrendous atrocities at the hands of illegitimate regimes.
