President Tayyip Erdoğan said about the arresting and taking under custodies under the 'FETÖ' investigation that began after the 15th of July coup attempt, "Hoof prints and dog prints have blended into each other. There are those who say 'Let me slander someone; it will be believed anyway.'" "Sometimes, when I can find time for it, I watch TV. Some people make such comments, but the person they accuse has nothing to do with this thing. But they slander that person anyway. This is not right. We should abstain from such wrongs." After the 15th of July coup attempt, to be frank, the government began a witch hunt and victimised a lot of people from various sections. We have witnessed the same process in the Ergenekon and Balyoz cases. In this process those who are innocent and those who are not have been placed in the same bag without discriminating between them and serious charges have been put forward against them. In this process the government and the Fethullah Gulen Movement have worked together to clean state institutions and especially the army from national-English-supporters by making propaganda against them through media and jurisdiction, which ended in a big witch hunt. And now we are experiencing a similar process. The same mistakes are repeated and tens of people are victimised. Of course the fundamental reason for this is the capitalist jurisdiction system, because this system is man-made and has no notion whatsoever of justice. It has degraded people’s honour and values. The concept of justice went bankrupt here. It's a system that is notorious with its tyranny rather than justice.
This is one side of the issue. The other side is that right now, due to the last operations, nationalists have risen to a stronger position. With the cleansing of the America-supporting Gulenists from the jurisdiction in the aftermath of the last coup attempt, generally nationalists have been appointed to the positions left vacant from the Gulenists, which led to the strengthening of the nationalists. There is a great reaction and hate against both the Gulen Movement and the government. Now, as the roles have been reversed, it is aimed to subject the Gulen Movement to the same. Even though these operations are made against the Gulen Movement, in the end, it is the Muslims who have to suffer in this process, due to the hate towards Islam and the Muslims that exists within the nationalist-English section.
They even attack what is sacred to Islam and the Muslims under the pretext of the Gulen Movement. Hence they accused the Gulenists who once persecuted them with supporting the coup and aim at their extensions from the jurisdiction. This situation has brought the government in a tight spot, both in the eyes of the public and internationally. That is why Erdoğan reacted to this by saying, "Hoof prints and dog prints have blend into each other."
Also President Erdoğan manipulated the people by pretending to target the Gulen Movement while in fact his real target was the nationalists. He tried to purge the army and other state institutions from them. In face of that, the nationalists did not idle. They recognized Erdoğan's and the government's intention and thus used the same pretext, especially their power in the jurisdiction, with the aim to clear off American-supporters both in the army and the other state institutions. So both the English and the Americans entered a competition of power using their local pawns. Both sides exploit the July 15 coup attempt in order to strengthen their positions in Turkey. On one hand America is pursuing its domination in Turkey, and on the other hand it is taking political steps in order to completely neutralise the English. The English are trying to protect their mainstay while also aiming at increasing their voice and power. This situation will continue until the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah, which then, by the will of Allah, will bring an end to the colonialist Kuffar's rule.
