8th May 2017: Pentagon Backs $7.5 Billion Military Spending Boost in Asia

The Pentagon has reportedly backed a proposal to support U.S. military presence in the Asia-Pacific region with some $7.5 billion in investments to boost infrastructure, exercises, troop deployment and naval assets.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the plan, first proposed by Senator John McCain, is supported in principle by Defence Secretary Jim Mattis and head of the U.S. Pacific Command Admiral Harry Harris.  (Source: TIME, The Wall Street Journal)

  

Comment:

Nothing strange to see that the US, under the new president starts to increase US military spending everywhere, the highest possible way to boost the capitalist economy for the benefit of a certain group of people and to show their power to the world.  It was reported in the news as well that the US is pushing through billions of dollars of arms sales contract to Saudi Arabia ahead of Trump’s visit to the country this month.

The increase of US military spending is not new. History has shown, this seems to be a repetitive action especially under the Republican President administration. Even though it was the opposite under the Obama administration, seems that the Republican-Democratic cycle is following what the US has planned.

A month ago, April 14, US military under the Donald Trump’s administration drops ‘mother of all bombs’ GBU-43 in Afghanistan to fight against ISIS. Former Afghan president, Hamid Karzai, said that “Afghanistan was used very disrespectfully by the US to test its Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)”.

The world  still remembers that it was in December 2001, under the George W. Bush administration,  BLU82 nicknamed “Daisy Cutter”, one of the powerful bomb was dropped in Afghanistan in the Tora Bora, used to attack Al-Qaeda.

GBU-43 vs. BLU82, Al-Qaeda vs.  ISIS are two different bombs or groups, but the similarity for both was, "Islamic groups" were always the reason to be targeted, the Muslim lands were always be the platform to test the weapons, Muslim people continue to be the victims and the leaders of the Muslims are always the main supporters for US military arm deals.

To the Muslim leaders, who are supposed to be the protector,

Are you blind to see this? Don’t you feel shame of being the puppet of the US? Do you not have your own dignity to protect the Muslim land by your own instead of just the followers? Should you just stay quiet to see Muslim land being bombed and many others killed? If not why should you support the Kuffar to be stronger and to put their stronghold in the Muslim land? Has Allah has not reminded you on this?

﴿تَرَى كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَبِئْسَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لَهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ أَن سَخِطَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَفِي الْعَذَابِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ * وَلَوْ كَانُوا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالله والنَّبِيِّ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَا اتَّخَذُوهُمْ أَوْلِيَاء وَلَـكِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ﴾

“You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally. (80) And if they had believed in Allah and the Prophet and in what was revealed to him, they would not have taken them as allies; but many of them are defiantly disobedient.” [Al-Maidah 5: 80-81]

To the Muslim, if the current leader continues to be the friend of the Kuffar, not being trusted to protect Muslim land, should you still not work or support the establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate" state with the leadership Amirul Jihad or Khalifah that will fight to protect the Muslim land and blood as the example of what Khalifah Harun al-Rashid did?
