Yemen's Exiled President Hadi calls for New Uprising
News
Yemen's President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has urged Yemenis to rise up against the Houthi rebels as violence further escalated in the capital, Sanaa, following the assassination of the country's former leader, Ali Abdullah Saleh.
His predecessor, Saleh, who had ruled Yemen for three decades before his overthrow in 2011, was killed in a rocket-propelled grenade and gun attack on his car at a checkpoint outside Sanaa.
The Houthis said Saleh was killed for "treason" after he cut ties with the rebels in favour of the Saudi-led coalition. The Arab League condemned Saleh's killing on Tuesday and branded the Houthis as a "terrorist organisation". (SOURCE: AL JAZEERA NEWS)

Both sides claim they have Allah on their side. Both claim to be the Ummah of Muhammad (salallahu alaihi wasallam). Yet both sides put their tribe, their sect above what Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) and His Messenger (saw) has commanded. They slaughter their brothers, fathers and mothers. This is not from noble Deen of Islam.
How is this different to the days of Jahiliyyah when the Ansar were fighting against each other in Yathrib, egged on by their enemies the Jews?
Just as it was then, the only ones who are able to celebrate the slaughter and suffering of Muslims are the ones who supply the weapons and encourage them to fight on - these are the enemies of the Islamic Ummah, the enemies of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw).
Allah (swt) commands:
{إِنَّ هَٰذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ}
“Truly! This, your Ummah is one Ummah and I am your Lord, therefore worship Me (Alone).” [TMQ: 21:92]
Abu Hurairah (ra) said, ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
كُلُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ حَرَامٌ دَمُهُ وَمَالُهُ وَعِرْضُهُ»
“The blood, honour and property of a Muslim is inviolable for another Muslim.”’ [Sahih Muslim]
Will they not hearken? Did not the Creator send His Messenger to instruct us, how to conduct ourselves and our disputes with each other? What would Muhammad (saw) do were he to face this situation? Allah (swt) commands us that the believers fall into dispute than return to Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw).
{يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا}
“O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination.” [TMQ: 4:59]
Whose agenda are these two parties serving? Are their loyalties to tribalism, sectarianism, or the enemies of Islam? Are they not the slaves of Allah (swt)?
How strong would the Islamic Ummah be were we not to allow ourselves to be divided by the whispers of Shaitan and the machinations of the enemies of Islam? How invincible would we be and how quickly the suffering of our Ummah in Palestine, Syria and elsewhere be lifted were we to come together as the Deen of Islam commands.
If you truly love and fear Allah (swt) and truly love Rasulullah (saw), then fear and obey Allah (swt). Stop this war between the Ummah, of the One Aqeedah, One Book and noble Deen of Islam.
