Why is the United States throwing out Afghan rulers one after another?
(Translated)

News

In a major move president Ashraf Ghani signed on Sunday the retirement orders of 164 Generals. “Putting Afghanistan new military officers inherent law to practice,” he wrote on his official Twitter account. The president also noted, "We want reforms to win the war and peace. We don’t want reforms just for the sake of reforms. This process will continue for our brighter future”.

Under a draft law approved by the Afghan parliament in November 2017, over 70% or as many as 2,000 generals and high-ranking military officers in the Afghan national security forces are sheduled to be retired in the next two years.

Comment

By this move they utterly want to exit the real centers of the power of the Ummah which are concentrated in its militaries, such as Egypt, Turkey and Pakistan, from the access of the Ummah and the Islamic awakening parties.

Everybody is aware of the fact that the United States is using Afghanistan and its geo-political location as a war project in the region. Thus they need to predominate on war instead of peace; a weak Afghan government and people that is already consumed in an internal conflict instead of emphasizing on a stronger centralized state to protect their own interests. However, in the meantime they have started a parallel and broad democratization changing process in the Afghan tribal society and government.

In the past 17 years the United States was able to control any influence of the former Soviet Union in Afghanistan and successfully use any influence of Britain, Pakistan, Iran and the Saudi Kingdom for its own interests.

During the first years of invasion, the United States employed the majority of the former Mujahid and communist leaders as their allies during President Karzai's rule. However, they – under the supervision of Zalmay Khalilzad, the former US ambassador and special presidential envoy to Afghanistan – removed them from power through a dexterous and gradual process and one after another were replaced by western trained technocrats. Professor Abd ur Rab Rasul Sayyaf, Amir Muhammad Ismail Khan, Yunus Qanooni, Bismillah Muhammadi and recently Ahmad Zia Masood, General Dosum and Ata Muhammad Noor are worth mentioning examples.

While others such as Haji Qadeer, Burhanuddin Rabbani, General Daud, General Saidkheli and Ahmad Wali Karzai were adeptly assassinated. In addition, many of the local and trible influential individuals were assassinated through many colonialist tricks and schemes in two phases; first in the south and now in the north of Afghanistan. The reason for taking such steps were to remove the Afghan tribal system which was one of the main hurdles in the way of individualism, democratization and westernization of this land.

However, this process of the fundamental changing in the Afghan society has not completed yet, because there are some tribal leaders, former Mujahedeen and Security officers who continue to resist against the US and NATO occupation. Therefore, they will either be forced to agree to the US proposed peace process which is based on the liberal values and all of what has been gained in the last 17 years or be assassinated through the new Trump proposed bombing campaign.

Having a green light from the US government, Ashraf Ghani first controlled and centralized all of the financial and administrative authorities under his own office completely that is happening through National Security Council, National Procurement Committee, Economic Committee, Civil Servants Reform Commission, Election Commission and many other important public institutions.

Afterwards, to remove the Islamists and communist remnants of the past regimes – who had gained influence during the Russian invasion, former Mujahedeen government and in the first years of the US invasion – from the government and chang with the technocrats under the guise of reforms, bringing forward and making brighter future the educated young professionals. Therefore, the retiring of these 164 Generals is part of the process and is not the proclaimed reform and 70% of the senior officers of the armed forces will face the same situation soon.

This process of the fundamental changing of the Afghan society will include everyone of those who are the remnants of the previous – Communist and Mujahedeen – regimes that are still in power or part of the government as well as those who will join the American proposed liberal peace process in the near future. This is part of the same cycle which was described by Ata Muhammad Noor, the governor of the Balkh province in the following terms: “America used us like the Pepsi cans and threw us away after they finished drinking”.

Therefore, we sincerely call upon all of those Islamists – once again – who are still active in the government, Islamic groups and the Afghan society on whatever scale, to understand the western and eastern plans and schemes and do not allow any of the same bitter experiences they had in the past from happening again. Because the West is trying to pave the way to bring their Kuffri changes through a generational change, and therefore, you do not only have a chance to guide and protect yourself but many other people as well. This is because you are influential leaders and rulers. Rise and resist against the Kufr, be it in the forms of each and every western and eastern ideologies and systems; consider this short life as a test from Allah; repent on your past mistakes and sins; and join the holy struggle of the Ummah against the Kufr for our future. Do so to not only make a name in history like our past great heroes, but also to have a chance for meeting Rasoolullah (saw) on the side of Hawdh e Kawthar with pride.
