Comment:
On 3 March 1924, the Khilafah, which is the Shari’ method of the application of Islam to life, was abolished by the British and their local collaborators through their superior(!) efforts. The Muslims in particular and the humanity in general, would no longer have a state that ruledwith justice, watched over its people and provided a trusting and peaceful life standard. On the contrary, there would be human ideologies in general and capitalism in particular, that would create a world full of injustice, tears, hunger and pain.
Undoubtedly, everything on behalf of the crises we witness and even feel to the skin in the world we live in today is the projection of the domination of capitalism. The capitalist system has had very significant destructive effects on the humanity, due to its credos and shortcomings. When we look with an objective view, then the big destruction and demolition capitalism has generated is a reality. Crises dominate every area we could think of, like social life, economics, etc. In short, all aspects of life are surrounded by crises. Hunger, which originates from capitalism’s exploitation principle, is at shocking scales. The world hunger statistics isastonishing, as well as creepy. Perhaps, we understand capitalism’s brutal lowdown better, when we come to know that the 660 tons of water used for golf courses per day, is equivalent to the dailyminimum water need of 4.7 billion people. Once again,we understand better that capitalism is a system of oppression and exploitation which makes the poor poorer and the rich richer; when we come to know that the wealth of 8 billionaires amongst the world’s richest people, is equal to the possessions of about half of the world's population. According to the World Health Organization, more than fifty thousand people die every day due to poverty-related reasons. So, even a few examplesshed enough light on the point Capitalism has brought the humanityto.
Many reasons can be mentioned in the context of the causes of crises. However, all the reasons brought forward on behalf of getting rid of these mentioned crises, are at the level of secondary reasons. Because the fundamental factor underlying the crises that surround the life, is the abolishment of Islam – which is alifesystem –in practicalsense and the existence of systems outside Islam.
The crises which are felt to the skin, and chaos which wrap up the world, announce the collapse of capitalism. Actually, it’s the flare of the end of theexploitation system… Capitalist system’s performance range in moral, economic and social aspects clearly shows its miserableness and the fact that it will nevergive happiness to the people in general, and the Muslims in particular. Expecting from the source of oppression and subversion that it will create safety and a stable life, is “a pipe dream”.
When the economic, social or judiciary system of Islam is implemented by the Khilafah, which is Islam’s ruling system, the disbelievers’ system of exploitation and oppression will come to an end. With the revival of Islam’s Khilafah State (Caliphate), which is in compliance with the nature and the sole life system, and its implementation, oppression will give way to justice, pain to happiness and poverty to a prosperous life standard. In other words, when Islam is implemented in everyday life again, the Muslims in particular and the humanity in general will have a prosperous life.
The step that must be taken in order to end the crises and instability, is to remove the capitalist system from the world stage, which is the source of oppression, and establish theKhilafah Rashidah upon the method of the Prophethood which promises a safe and stable world under the shadow of the system of Islam. The guarantor of a life far from crises, is just the system of Islam. WhenUmar Radiyallahu Anhentered ash-Shām, he expressed this to Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah Radiyallahu Anhwith the following words:
"إِنَّا كُنَّا أَذَلَّ قَوْمٍ فَأَعَزَّنَا اللَّهُ بِالْإِسْلَامِ، فَمَهْمَا نَطْلُبُ الْعِزَّةَ بِغَيْرِ مَا أَعَزَّنَا اللَّهُ بِهِ أَذَلَّنَا اللَّهُ"
“Verily, we were a disgraceful people and Allah honored us with Islam. If we seek honor from anything besides that with which Allah has honored us, then Allah will disgrace us.” (Hakim; Mustadrak)
