The Bankruptcy of the Biden Administration
(Translated)

News:

The newly appointed US National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, has announced that the new US administration will work with ‘Israel,’ to build on regional normalization agreements. The statement came after his first telephonic communication with his counterpart Meir Ben-Shabbat on Saturday 23 January 2021, where Sullivan, “reaffirmed President Biden’s unwavering commitment to Israel’s security and expressed appreciation for Ben Shabbat’s contributions to our bilateral partnership. They discussed opportunities to enhance the partnership over the coming months, including by building on the success of Israel’s normalization arrangements with UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco.” (whitehouse.gov)

A day before Joe Biden’s inauguration to the the presidency of the United States, the newly appointed US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, stated that the US will keep the US embassy in the occupied Jerusalem during his tenure, whilst continuing to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of ‘Israel’ and committing to the two state solution. Comment:

After many observers, allies, followers and agents expressed their hopes about the Biden administration, a little after the departure of the Trump administration from the White House, some of them conceived that the local and international issues will revolve around a single person devoid of the real decision makers in America, the grey suited men of the multinational companies. Their aspirations have been crushed at the outset. They were disappointed by Biden’s administration as soon as it undertook its first concrete actions, as well as its declarations for actions that it is committed too.

Although Biden has signed off on some issues and files upon receiving the keys to the White House in an attempt to garner more support within a visibly divided US, these issues were relatively minor, such as stopping the further construction of the racial separation wall between the US and Mexico (instead of resolutely demolishing what has been constructed!), re-joining the World Health Organization and climate accords and permitting entry to the Muslims from the countries which Trump had banned from entry into the US, amongst other actions.

As for the primary policies of real weightage approved by the Trump administration, Biden has neither revoked any of those policies, nor has he suspended them. These include the conflict with China, tariffs on Chinese goods, spending on NATO, relations with Europe and Russia, the Iran and Afghanistan files and what he has mentioned of other international issues, primarily the issue of Palestine, in which the current administration did not deviate from the policy of the previous administration. Instead, the Biden administration affirmed its commitment to what the previous administration had committed to over Palestine.

It must be made clear, far and wide, that the inability of the US to solve international and local problems is not due to the political parties contesting over the White House. Instead, it is due to the bankruptcy of capitalist ideology. For example, Biden’s plan for saving the US economy from collapse is not different to Trump’s pro-capitalist elite projects. Biden also sees that the solution to the economic crisis is by increasing stimulus interventions; in other words, printing more dollars and drowning the nation in the swamp of debt, until it reaches the ears of the people. As for the dealing of Biden’s administration with the Coronavirus pandemic, it is by promoting vaccines produced by the US pharmaceutical companies, who have already signed contracts with Trump’s administration. Thus, the role of Biden is merely to ensure the vaccines are marketed, from which companies stand to make billions of dollars, regardless of the real need of the vaccine for the people. Similarly, neither the previous nor the current administration has proposed a cure for the global unemployment problem, which has surged by more than 255 million job losses, in the light of measures taken to confront the Coronavirus!

The whole world, including the Muslim World, is in need of an alternative comprehensive ideological vision to the bankrupt Western ideology. It is the vision of Islam that affirms the truth and falsifies the falsehood, harnessing the precious and valuable resources in the path of fundamental issues such as liberating Palestine, Occupied Kashmir, Afghanistan and Iraq, whilst solving the global economic problem through the fair distribution of wealth amongst people. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

(أَفَمَنْ يَمْشِي مُكِبًّا عَلَى وَجْهِهِ أَهْدَى أَمَّنْ يَمْشِي سَوِيًّا عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ)

“Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path?” [TMQ Surah Mulk: 22]
