Without the Khilafah, Having One of the World’s Largest Armies Cannot Save this Ummah from Harm

The Monsoon rains in Pakistan have devastated the country with over 1000 people dead and 119 that have perished in one day. There have been reports of people engaged in self help rescue operations using bed frames and makeshift nonprofessional equipment to try to save lives.

The countries ability to cope has been tested with millions of citizens left to brave the dangers alone with no help. Outside his has been limited and slow. Parents have reported that their children have been literally swept away in the sudden rush of high water conditions.

Interior ministry official Salman Sufi has expressed desperation for international support, saying; "Pakistan has been grappling with economic issues, but now just when we were about to overcome them the monsoon disaster hit,"

According to reports by the Dawn newspaper, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a grant of 10bn rupees ($45m) for those in the most affected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Every flood-affected family would be given 25,000 rupees ($112), Mr Sharif said, which would be disbursed within a week. (BBC)

Comment:

The idea that a family who has lost their entire home and source of income can make effective use of $112 is an evidence of superficial measures that serve news reports rather than the life and death circumstances of the Ummah. There is no food to buy in the region with entire businesses washed away. The economic problems of Pakistan are the result of abandoning the secure righteous system of the economic system of Islam. If the entire model of the Sharia law was implemented in full, Pakistan would not be on its knees begging in a manner where they are humiliated to ask for foreign aid. The collective resources of the wealthy Islamic world would be united correctly as it was in the past and a comprehensive aid package where the Muslims are evacuated and have their entire lives restored would be the norm. This is the function of providing basic human rights of food, clothing, shelter and education. Throwing dollars into the waters of the drowning does not solve the matters of the Ummah as Allah (swt) ordered. Pakistan has one of the world’s largest and most well equipped armies, but with no Khalifah (Caliph), shackled to the secular laws of kufr power is a mere picture with no practical use. May Allah (swt) remove these times of embarrassments and suffering from the history book of the future and give the Muslims of the world their true rights as ordered by Islam.

(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ)

“O you who believe! be careful of (your duty to) Allah and be with the true ones.” [Surah At-Tawbah 9:119]
