In the Absence of the Khilafah, the Muslims of Palestine Continue to be Executed with Impunity

On the 6th December, 22-year-old Omar Manaa was killed by ‘Israeli’ fire during a military raid on the Deheishe refugee camp near Bethlehem, where Jewish soldiers directed tear gas and opened fire at a crowd opposing the raid. This crime took place just a few days after 23 year old Ammar Mufleh was executed in cold blood and in broad daylight by an ‘Israeli’ officer near Huwwara, south of Nablus. The murder was captured on video and widely circulated on social media. It showed the Jewish soldier initially holding Ammar in a headlock as two other men were trying to wrestle him away. Then following a scuffle, the officer pulled out a handgun and shot him several times at point blank as he fell to the floor.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, its medics were prevented from treating the injured man who was later declared dead. Jewish forces took away Mufleh’s body denying him a funeral – a well-established tactic used by the occupying entity to humiliate and exert control over the bodies of Palestinians murdered by their forces. Ammar was the 10th Palestinian to be murdered by the occupation in 10 days, and over 200 Palestinians have been killed so far this year in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Comment:

Rights groups have described the Jewish entity’s forces operating under an open-fire regulation based upon a shoot-to-kill policy. Some are calling on the International Criminal Court to deal with Jewish soldiers who kill innocents. But which court today will deal with the continued existence of the terrorist Jewish occupation who issues the orders to its forces to slaughter innocents at will? There is none! Today, you have a world order that gives this murderous entity a green light to execute murder and its other crimes against the Muslims of Palestine in broad daylight and with absolute impunity, knowing that there will be no ramifications or repercussions from any international body, government or state. And so the cold-blooded executions continue, the bulldozing of Palestinian homes continues, the arbitrary arrests and abuse of Palestinian children continue, and the terrorising of our Ummah in Palestine continues unabated. Indeed, this terrorist Jewish entity operates under complete protection of the current world order.

Western governments have provided military and economic support to Ukraine to fight Russian occupation of its land. Yet, in the Blessed Land of Palestine, it is the brutal occupation which is provided support against defenceless Palestinians, demonstrating that the current capitalist world powers have no genuine regard for justice, morality, human rights or fighting against tyrants and murderous entities. Rather it is their specific political and economic interests that will always reign supreme.

The blood of the Muslims of Palestine is not cheap. The loss of their lives should not just be statistics added to the records of human rights organisations.

The Prophet (saw) said, «قَتْلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ زَوَالِ الدُّنْيَا» “Killing a believer is more grievous before Allah than the extinction of the whole world.” However, there will be no end to the nightmare affecting the Muslims of Palestine under the current world order which works to maintain the status quo in the Blessed Land rather than change it. And there will be no end to this brutal occupation without the establishment of a state and leadership which genuinely represents and defends the interests and lives of the Muslims and their Deen. While Muslims place hope in international institutions, and foreign governments to end this slaughter, the bloodbath and suffering of our Ummah in Palestine and elsewhere will only continue and intensify.

The Prophet (saw) said: «لَا يُلْدَغُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ جُحْرٍ وَاحِدٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ» “The Muslim is not bitten from the same hole twice.” So, how much longer are we to watch the blood of our Palestinian brothers and sisters flow freely through the streets of this Blessed Land? How much longer are we see the mothers of Palestine weep over their murdered children? And how much longer are we to witness the daily humiliation and terrorisation of our brothers and sisters until we realise that there is no end to all this, no protection, no dignity, without the establishment of the Islamic system and leadership – the Khilafah (Caliphate) based upon the method of the Prophethood?

The Prophet (saw) said: «إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ» “Only the Imam is a shield, behind whom you fight and you protect yourself with.” Imam Nawawi (ra) explained the shield as being a cover for those behind him, since the Imam is the cover which prevents the enemy from harming the Muslims. This is by leading the army, protecting the borders and organizing the Jihad.
