Saudi Arabia Makes a Mockery of the Islamic Social System
News:
Saudi Arabia’s football team has signed Cristiano Ronaldo to a 175 million dollar sports deal, so he and his family will be relocating to Saudi Arabia. His four children will be accompanied by their mother, who is not legally his wife. Currently, Saudi Arabia has “strict” laws on cohabiting non-married couples. To accommodate this, Saudi Arabia has wavered the rules for Ronaldo, and he will be allowed to be a resident who co-habits with a woman to whom he is not married.
Comment:
The current efforts of the Saudi leadership to accommodate the Haram is part of a global campaign in the Muslim lands to undermine the Sharia Law and normalise Western values. The fact that Ronaldo is a well-known figure is also manipulated to advertise fornication as something desirable and non-contradictory with success.
The youth will be drawn to the values and achievements of famous personalities, and misleading the next generation away from Islam is an agenda active in the Muslim communities globally. Furthermore, women will feel that it is acceptable to bear the responsibilities of a relationship, and not having a commitment from a man/father of their children is also a gross value being promoted in the social subconsciousness of the Islamic personality. This action of making a mockery of the Sharia Law is an insult to the Quran and Sunnah and a direct challenge to the laws of Allah (swt) when He says in the Quran;
[اَلزَّانِيَةُ وَالزَّانِىۡ فَاجۡلِدُوۡا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنۡهُمَا مِائَةَ جَلۡدَةٍ وَّلَا تَاۡخُذۡكُمۡ بِهِمَا رَاۡفَةٌ فِىۡ دِيۡنِ اللّٰهِ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالۡيَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَلۡيَشۡهَدۡ عَذَابَهُمَا طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ]
“Those who fornicate - whether female or male - flog each one of them with a hundred lashes. And let not tenderness for them deter you from what pertains to Allah's religion, if you do truly believe in Allah and the Last Day3; and let a party of believers witness their punishment.”
Whilst non-Muslims are allowed to manage some areas of their personal lives according to their personal beliefs, the issue here is that the foundation of the rule in Saudi Arabia is related to bowing to the Western idea of being free and living a progressive life. This is in line with the modernisation and rebranding of Saudi Arabia which is the policy of the rulers there. There is no validity in rulings being similar to Islam with an origin in the non-Muslim ideology. The licensing of nightclubs, alcohol circulation and degenerate industries to promote tourism all have their support of the Saudi government under the guide of “progress”.
The flagrant violation of the Islamic values is due to the slavery of our leaders to appease the non-Muslim entities that control our countries. There can be no tolerance of this “tolerate”; all viewpoints mindset that is a moral stick used to beat Muslims into submission via false humanitarian guilt.
We call upon all Muslims to reject the idea that exceptions can be granted in the Sharia laws or that partial implementation of Quran and Sunnah is acceptable.
