Liberal Capitalist Values Gives Permission to Abuse Women

On the 24th of May, the BBC reported that a 95-year-old woman was tasered in her care home by police officers. Law enforcement was called to the scene when it was concerned staff reported that she was holding a knife and was acting erratically. She fell to the floor due to her engagement with the police and was critically injured to the point where she was hospitalised for days; she later died. Mrs Nowland is believed to have suffered a fractured skull and a serious brain bleed after falling and hitting her head during the incident.

Comment:

Even though the 33 year old police officer was disciplined for his actions, this has not changed the irreversible harm that has befallen the family that must bury their grandmother.

The attitude of liberal ideological fanatics is that “women are equal to men” and should be treated as such. There are no allowances for recognising their specific value as mothers or high status as those needing social protection.

This is the reason why such brute force was used on a weak and vulnerable woman who was so elderly that she was suffering from mental dementia. This commonly causes the older generation to behave like children and they must be given that consideration when they self-harm or attempt to harm others.

In Islam, women are an honor to be guarded and protected by the men and the state. The elderly have a special place of protection due to the respect that they are given as the mothers of the Ummah. Society and its civilised status it judged by how they treat their most needy citizens.

In this case, the animalistic attitude relating to women is apparent even in the younger generation of women who suffer harassment and abuse from the time they enter social life.

Freedoms do not serve women in the West; they simply give an illusion of rights that have no real value or enforcement when interest is at stake. The mercy of the Khilafah (Caliphate) and the presence of a true righteous leader to guide humankind to the highest values is the need of the time and is the greatest of responsibilities in the Ummah.

[فَإِنْ آمَنُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا آمَنْتُمْ بِهِ فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوْا وَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا هُمْ فِي شِقَاقٍ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ]

“So if they believe as ye believe, they are indeed on the right path; but if they turn back, it is they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against them, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.” [2:137]
