Erdogan Winks at the British

Metin Gürak, former Chief of General Staff and brother-in-law of the pro-British İlker Başbuğ, was appointed as the new Chief of General Staff at the ordinary meeting of the Supreme Military Council for the year 2023 held under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. After the appointment of Mehmet Şimşek, who has British citizenship and has very close relations with the British financial sector, as the Minister of Finance, the appointment of the brother-in-law of the pro-British Kemalist İlker Başbuğ as the Chief of General Staff means that Erdoğan is winking at the British.
Erdogan's move is not only meant to lower the dosage of harsh criticism of Erdogan in the British media, but also to wink at the British financial sector at a time of economic distress, high inflation and high cost of living. Erdoğan went on a tour of the Gulf a few weeks ago, signing deals worth billions of dollars, according to the media, in order to find money to compensate for the money he handed out as hints at election time, or to find money to hand out as bribes in the upcoming municipal elections in March. This appointment is not only a gesture to the Gulf capital, which gives billions of dollars, but also a green light to British financial circles.
As it is known, after the 15 July coup attempt, Erdoğan, in order to end the pro-American and anti-American interests and to completely eradicate the hard-line British supporters from the political scene, declared the Jamaat "FETO", the common enemy of all of them, as the enemy, and then launched a massive witch-hunt in the judiciary, the army and other institutions, supposedly on behalf of the Jamaat. The power of the soldiers was broken by the expulsion of the strict secular Kemalists who did not act in accordance with the interests of the US or who did not bow to Erdoğan, and those who thought about their interests and future reluctantly bowed to Erdoğan or were forced to act according to Erdoğan's interests. Therefore, this appointment also means that Erdoğan is not afraid of the soldiers whose power has been broken and who have now turned into lambs, and that he has to act according to the interests of America, even if a pro-British person is appointed as the Chief of General Staff.
On the other hand, this appointment also means controlling the British through the British and creating cracks among the British. The duo of Yaşar Güler and Metin Gürak will probably continue the slaughter in the army, so the arrows will be directed towards this pro-British duo rather than the pro-American Erdoğan. Naturally, this slaughter will cause cracks to appear among the British. With this appointment, Erdoğan, in order to liquidate the British through the British after 15 July, in a sense, made the commanders, i.e. the chiefs of general staff, ministers of defence and brought the tradition applied during the Mustafa Kemal period back to the political stage.
Unfortunately, today the armed forces have become a battleground for the British and Americans. However, the main task of the armed forces is to carry the Islamic ideology to the world through jihad. The army exists for this. Therefore, the Turkish Armed Forces must return to its original mission. Of course, the way to this is the Khilafah. Therefore, Muslims, especially Muslims in Turkey, should do their best to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (Caliphate) in order to address the external enemy instead of the internal conflicts in the army.
