Hasina’s Pseudo Diplomacy Underlines Dancing under British Geopolitical Choreography and Trading the Ummah’s Valuable Wealth for her Unauthorized Rule

Following her victory in the disputed general elections in January, which was boycotted by the opposition, Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received congratulatory messages from several Asian and allied nations, including India, China, and Russia. However, powerful Western democracies like the United States and United Kingdom expressed concern over the election’s legitimacy. A month later, Hasina received a letter of cooperation from U.S. President Joe Biden. This was followed by the visit of a high-level U.S. delegation to Dhaka late last week. Comment:

After the much criticized farcical election, Hasina Wajed has been applauded by supporters of her oppressive rule with the credit of managing the global powers including China, Russia and the USA with her so called ‘successful diplomacy’. In reality, Hasina is nothing more than a string-puppet of Britain and she’s been navigating through the conflicting interest of the global powers under the direct guidance of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. PM Hasina held a direct meeting with Tony Blair at her official residence Ganabhaban on March 04, 2023 (Dhaka Tribune) and several other meetings abroad during her pre-election deadlock. It’s a well-known fact that Tony Blair and his Institution work globally to maintain British interest through advising the ‘remaining’ British agents on strategy and policy levels to keep those agents alive and serviceable.

Through Hasina, Britain also undermined the US position by pushing the US to resort to measures like VISA restrictions and sanctions against those who violate human rights and people’s aspiration to vote, but put the USA in a position where the Colonialist State had no option but to accept some concessions in its geostrategic intersects like Indo-Pacific Strategy (IPS), ACSA & GSOMIA defense treaty and offshore hydrocarbon deal for ExxonMobile, at the cost of its humanitarian Santa Claus image. In reality, Colonialist interest is their only criteria of relationship with other States, where hollow humanitarian speeches are just deceptive masks. On top of that, Hasina is trying to appease the global powers by giving each of them large portions of Ummah’s strategic wealth, for which it has no authorization from Allah (swt) and the Ummah. The situation of the Ummah now is as described by our Beloved Prophet (saw) in his famous hadith of wahn,

«يُوشِكُ الأُمَمُ أَنْ تَدَاعَى عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا تَدَاعَى الأَكَلَةُ إِلَى قَصْعَتِهَا‏»‏

“the Nations (Kuffar) will soon summon each other against you as the gluttons invite others to share their dish” (Abi Dawud).

In contrast to this wretched and despicable capitalist World Order, the upright Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) system is a just ruling system, both for its citizens and the people living outside its borders. Rulers in the Caliphate are free from pseudo diplomacy and act in accordance with the firm diplomatic principles set by the Islamic Shariah. Islam instructed to use all diplomatic and if necessary military actions to secure the interest and wealth of the citizens as was the case of Battle of Uhud, Al-Ahzab, Hudaibiya ceasefire, the Crusades, the Mongol invasion and many more instances. As for the people living outside its borders its worth to be recalled at this moment that, in 1492 CE, at the wake of the Reconquista when the Spanish rulers tortured and expelled many Jews (alongside the Muslims), the Ottoman Caliph Bayezid II greeted those refugees with full citizenship and protection. The world is in need of the Islamic Khilafah again, that will end the plundering of Ummah’s wealth by capitalist nations and their agents, end the undergoing oppressions against the Muslims and act as a beacon of light and justice for anyone who walks on the face of this earth, even if they are non-Muslims. This Khilafah will end all the turmoil and disorder (Fitna) that the capitalist World Order has created and the mercy of Allah will spread throughout the earth, insh’Allah. Allah (swt) says in the Glorious Quran:

[كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم مِّنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ]

“You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and you believe in Allāh” [Aali-Imran: 110].
