Danish Politicians Place Muslims under Systemic Suspicion and Demand of them to Become Westernised
News:
On the 5th of April, the Social Democrat spokesman for immigration, Frederik Vad, announced key points for the current immigration and integration policies. Most notably that employment, education, language and clean criminal records, are not sufficient for immigrants and citizens of immigrant background, if they don't subscribe to secular values, and thus supposedly work to undermine the Danish society from within. His speech in the Danish Parliament has sparked controversy, with criticism from member and mayors of the Social Democrat Party itself, while several ministers have backed up the speech with additional support.
Comment:
The Danish government is putting law-abiding Muslim citizens under suspicion, if they subscribe to Islamic values. The Danish government claims that even if key parameters of good citizenship, by their very own definitions of integration, are upheld, a Muslim carrying Islamic values is a potential threat to the Danish society.
In addition, Danish politicians demand of Muslims what they call "assimilation of values" which means that Muslims should become westernised in the values they hold in order to avoid suspicion and being viewed as potential criminals.
This systemic suspicion and fearmongering by the Danish government follows decades of intimidating the Danish public against Islam and Muslims. They aim to instill fear and paranoia against Muslims in the public, where any Muslim is viewed as a potential infiltrator and conspirator.
Even if Muslims contribute to society by their esteemed jobs or higher levels of education, they are put under suspicion if they don't subscribe to secular and liberal values. If Muslims support and voice the call for the liberation of Palestine and the dismantling of the Zionist occupation, they are viewed as criminals, and this rhetoric comes in a climate where numerous Danish people, in line with many other Westerners, are holding Western governments accountable for their complicity in the genocide in Palestine and their constant support for the Zionist entity.
The real threats to society and relations between citizens are these politicians with their anti-Islamic, hateful rhetoric and policies.
Their so-called enlightened values are deteriorating and being exposed in broad daylight as illusions.
While these politicians ironically and hypocritically wish to force-feed secular values to Muslims, Westerners are looking into Islam and converting to Islam as a result of intellectual discussions and objective reasoning, when met with the convincing arguments of Islam. Arguments, thinking and reasoning, things that the Danish government are totally incapable of presenting to the Muslims.
