Comment:

President-elect Donald Trump referred to Turkiye's removal of Syria's Bashar al-Assad as an "unfriendly takeover" but appeared to praise Ankara. This suggests that the U.S. does not object to Turkiye’s actions. However, it is evident that the U.S., in coordination with Turkiye and other Muslim world rulers, seeks to undermine the sacrifices of millions in Syria by preserving the secular democratic nation-state and remnants of the oppressive regime. Despite Turkiye's involvement, the revolution’s success primarily stems from the persistence, patience, and sacrifices of the people of ash-Sham.

Despite this victory, the Muslim world remains trapped in a colonial framework orchestrated by America and the West. Erdogan has consistently disrupted the revolution in ash-Sham to serve his domestic agenda and the interests of colonial powers, maintaining divisions and systems that weaken and make Muslims dependent on the West.

This colonial order must be dismantled to restore the strength and unity of the Muslims. We cannot let the Ummah’s sacrifices be exploited by Turkiye or the U.S. We cannot allow ash-Sham to become another American outpost like Turkiye.

Our collective efforts should focus on reviving Islamic governance, uniting the Ummah, and reclaiming its rightful power on the global stage. We must be cautions of allowing this victory in Syria from being redirected towards a secular or civil rule by powers like America, Turkiye, and the neighboring Arab regimes. We must learn from past revolutions in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, and Yemen, where superficial changes left nations in worse conditions under foreign control. We sincerely advise the Ummah to stand firm for the reestablishment of Khilafah Rashidah, the true aspiration of the Islamic Ummah, and work towards its establishment. It’s time to break free from the grip of those who seek to lead us away from the straight path ordained by Allah.

[وَأَنَّ هَـذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ]

"Indeed, that is My Path—perfectly straight. So follow it and do not follow other ways, for they will lead you away from His Way. This is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you will be conscious ˹of Allah˺.” [Al-An’am 153]
