Trump Continues American Policy to Strengthen India and Weaken Pakistan

The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, visited the US for a two day “working visit” upon the invitation of US President Donald Trump. Modi also met the senior advisor to the president, billionaire businessman, Elon Musk, and the Director National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. The visit of Indian Prime Minister to the US underscores the importance America gives to India in its Indo-Pacific strategy. There is a bipartisan support in US for India with the aim of using her against China and the Muslims in South and Central Asia. India has developed into America’s ‘Israel’ in South Asia deployed against Muslim power in the region.

The United States-India Joint Leaders’ Statement of 13 February reflected an extensive agenda covering areas from defense cooperation, energy security, expanding trade and investment ties, technology and innovation, multilateral cooperation and increasing people to people ties. The expansive yet cooperative agenda is nothing new. Successive American administrations since 2001 have increased their efforts to increase India’s power potential. Additionally, US has been successful in infiltrating India’s large economic and defense sectors, through the party of Modi. President Trump gave a warm welcome to Narendra Modi and avoided public criticism over high Indian tariffs.

One of the main features of the joint statement was the commitment to “support and sustain the overseas deployments of the US and Indian militaries in the Indo-Pacific, including enhanced logistics and intelligence sharing, as well as arrangements to improve force mobility.” This will enable Indian military to be deployed in service of American interests against China and the Muslims, including the South China Sea, the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. This is in addition to previous agreements between US and India that aims to provide logistics and repair services to American military and increase interoperability of both armies.

The statement also stated, “the leaders announced plans to sign this year a new ten-year Framework for the U.S.-India Major Defense Partnership in the 21st Century.”

Modi has become bolder with American support. The growing US-India strategic partnership is clear and present danger for the Ummah. Both America and India are open enemies of Islam and Muslims. While America openly supports the Jewish entity against the Muslims of Palestine, it supports the Hindu State against the Muslims in India. Modi makes the lives of the Muslims in India a living hell by implementing a Hindu racist agenda domestically, that sees oppressive legal measures to persecute Muslims. At the regional level, India is at the forefront of conspiracies against Pakistan and Bangladesh. The joint statement targeted Pakistan, stating, “The leaders further called on Pakistan to expeditiously bring to justice the perpetrators of the 26/11 Mumbai, and Pathankot attacks and ensure that its territory is not used to carry out cross-border terrorist attacks.”

It is clear that there is no change in US support to India with the change of administration. It is also evident that US can only use India as its stooge, as long as the rulers of Pakistan comply with American dictations. One of the major pillars of America’s South Asia policy is to weaken Pakistan and force Pakistan to accept Indian hegemony. The slavish pro-American military leadership of Pakistan since 2001 have pivoted the country away from India, and focused on so-called internal threats. With the withdrawal of the American military from Afghanistan, America has made sure that Pakistan doesn’t reorients itself against India by instructing its military leadership to ignite conflict with the Muslims in Afghanistan. This leaves India free to confront China without any regional pressure.

The reality is that the nation-state framework has failed to check the aggression of the enemies of Islam. The so-called international law has consistently failed in Gaza, Kashmir, Iraq, Sudan and other Muslim regions. There is an increasing realization within the sincere officers in Pakistan’s armed forces that the current global order is directed against Muslims. The military officers realize that US wants Pakistan to submit to Hindu hegemony. What these sincere officers lack however is lack of clarity on Islamic obligation and alternative to US-led world order.

The fact remains that America fears Pakistan and its potential to become the Khilafah. With its strategic location, natural resources and a powerful military armed with highly advanced nuclear weapons and missiles, the Khilafah can unify Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Central Asia and the Gulf as one state, and defeat plans of America and those of its Hindu and Jewish minions.

The sincere officers in Pakistan’s armed forces must rush to establish Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood, and prevent the region from becoming subjugated to Hindu hegemony. The establishment of the Khilafah is a Shariah obligation upon sincere officers of army, who control the levers of power. They must hand over the authority to Hizb ut Tahrir which is completely prepared to lead the Ummah. Those providing Nussrah for the establishment of Khilafah will have the honor of liberating Srinagar, and opening the doors of a liberated al-Masjid al-Aqsa with their hands. This will be the day when Muslims will rejoice.

[وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * بِنَصْرِ اللهِ]

“And on that day, the believers will rejoice in the victory of Allah” [TMQ Surah Ar-Rum 4-5]
